I have 2 new batteries and 2 old pcc's. When I'm trying to charge the batteries off the pcc's the behave differently than my old batts. They seem to charge forever, the charge indicator never turns off and after a while on the pcc the tip starts to blink several times periodically. is the tip blinking telling me that the battery is full? Are these two compatible with one another, or are there new pcc's that can handle these batteries?

I have the same issue with my new black shortie manuals and ancient PCC. The batteries charge up just fine though, so I've never given it much thought. As long as they work, I am a happy guy.

The LED on the battery is letting you know it is being charged if it blinks 5 times once you put it in the PCC. I've never seen the LED blink on the PCC otherwise.

I have the PCC and standard manual batteries. When I first connect the battery for charging, the tip blinks a few times. The appropriate indicator on the PCC then turns on and stays on while charging. After two to four hours, that PCC indicator turns off, but not forever. It starts blinking once, about every 5 to 15 seconds.

I don't know what the blinking means on my PCC either. (My batteries are manual, too, by the way.)
