New Battery Ideas Needed

So I posted earlier about my poor luck with KGO's - had two from a starter pack from Virgin Vapors that were great, lasted over a year, got an Ego-twist replacement and that worked fine for about 3-4 months then died, got 2 replacements from Hoosier E-Cigs, one would charge but wouldn't fire, one fires but auto-shuts-off after a drag of more than 4 seconds. Got one good replacement KGO battery from Virgin Vapors that I am currently using, works great, ordered another, came in yesterday, and will charge but won't fire. Frustrated with the bad luck I have had with batteries, and haven't gotten any response to my post about ways to fix them so they work. Looking for a reliable, long lasting battery that I can carry around in my pocket. I am currently using a DCT tank and some resurrectors. Any advice on batteries would be greatly appreciated.

The new one charges, but the button doesn't light up when pressed? Was it shipped in the off position? (I don't mean to come off snarky, sometimes they are shipped that way).

ETA: In case you come back to this thread, try pushing the button 5 times in quick succession (it's supposed to be 5 times, but sometimes it can be 6)

I would suggest getting a PV with replacable loose batteries. First they tend to last longer. Second, they cost 2 - 3 time less so you save money in the long run. Since you already went variable with the twist, I would suggest a variable watt Vamo, which would be a definite upgrade over the twist, but only costs $40. You can use both 18350 and 18650 batteries in the Vamo which will cost about $11.50. Plus the Vamo has a 5 amp switch which is a definite upgrade over the eGo model PV's with the weaker 2.5 amp switch. The Zmax is another option but it does cost more.

Good Luck

I think eGo-styles have their place too, for me anyway. I take an eGo with me when I go out, since I wouldn't freak if I lost it.

Yeah, I generally do too, unless I am a long ways from home, then I bring TWO eGo style (Spinners!) in case I lose or break the first one.
