New Beta Flavor "CAPTAIN JACK" - Free 10ml Samples

I agree: great taste and TH. I don't normally use tobacco-flavored juice but I haven't been able to put down the Captain-Jack since I opened it last night

And as another member mentioned; the aroma is very strong. I think my bedroom is on its way to smelling like a tobacconist's shop

Made another order and got another bottle. I let it sit for a few days as prescribed.

I don't like it.

When the bottle is brand new, it is to me the perfect recreation of a pipe tobacco. Once settled it all becomes muted and tastes like a weak tobacco flavor. For context, I do not care for the generic tobacco flavors of other companies.

I do really like the tribeca and will be ordering three boats worth there. Unless something changes to make the flavor last, Captain Jack can sail without me. Perhaps a doubled flavor called Black Pearl?

Edit: loaded up the dregs to a new cartomizer and it's closer to my initial impressions somewhat. Last two cartomizers may have been a bit under voltage perhaps. Final verdict 7 of 10. Would buy a bottle now and again, but needs to keep it's starting flavor to get back to my day one review.

Yeah, I didn't care for it either. Although, I only let it steep for 2 days, after opening the bottle. I'm going to let it sit for another week, and try it again. It's gonna be hard to beat the torque 56, which as of right now, is my all day vape. I love that stuff!!

Ok, so I let the captain steep for another 5 days. This flavor is not for me. I'm not really getting the flowery taste, some of you are getting. To me, it's more like a rum, or other dark hard liquor, with a long, long aftertaste. If anyone is interested, i'll sell my 10ml bottle in 18mg, with about 10 drops used. PM me if you want it.

vietladin, you are right that all flavors don't hit it with us. I am always amazed when someone doesn't think Truepure is as great as I think it is! With that said, I have found others that think a Halo flavor that is not for me is for them, and so I have just shared with others, and others have wound up loving what I don't. I have not tried it and from what I have read in reviews, I think this may be one of those flavors that people like or people don't like(no middle ground).. You may find someone who thinks it is the best vape they have ever had.

You must be right, player30. I'm 5ml deep on the sample and still loving it. I feel like I'm cheating and smoking an analog when I vape this stuff on the other hand, I've seen positive reviews of Tribeca - which I found lacking. The Captain Jack for me is in an entirely different category of satisfaction

EDIT:

I stopped using the Captain Jack because I received several complaints of my car and house smelling bad "musty","like an old saloon","like piles of dirty clothes"

I missed the samples due to the Canada Post strike, which finally ended. Placed an order as soon as Canadian shipping came back online at Halo - the very next day I get the email that Captain Jack has gone live. So I also missed out on ordering it as well lol

It's my first Halo order, I got 1 of everything. Sure hope JB threw in some Captain Jack! Really stoked to try all 11 (now 12), huge tobacco and menthol fan.

I'll throw up some reviews when it gets here

Thanks for the sample. I don't care for it. It screams "cigar!" at me somehow. That's the most predominant note to me. On the other hand, I loved Tribeca before I even got it in my cartomizer. Different tastes!! I'm stoked for Prime 15, however. Thanks again!

I have to chime in here ...

I tried the Captain Jack again yesterday. I had half a bottle of the sample left and took it with me out to throw some bocce and I still love the stuff. I had a friend of mine try it while we were out in the grass (he doesn't smoke but used to enjoy cigars) and he thought it tasted great and said it tasted like honey more than anything else. It's a seriously satisfying vape that still makes me feel guilty like I'm analog-ing it
