I cannot help you on use with aspire Atlantis.
I have the istick 30 and have read minimum problems with others who own this brand at 30w.
The 50w is another story. You should do some research and make your own determination.
Whatever you choose, make sure you try to find out the merchandiser/vendor/supplier return record (in regards to acceptance of faulty units) of the vendor you bought it from. The vendor must be an authorized dealer from the original manufacturer if you ever need to return it and receive additional factory support if needed.

The website that I was buying both the items from is called vistavapors if you know anything about them

I would recommend getting the Joytech Evic VT over both of them. I have been getting constant protection errors on my 30 watt. I don't think it likes being ran a 30 watts constantly. This is with a dual coiled Goliath at .6 ohms.

The Evic VT is right around the same price as the 50 watt. No problems reported so far on it, unlike the 50 watt. Plus it is 60 watts max, and has TC built in. Just in case you ever want to try out TC.

The only thing to watch out for on the Evic is to make sure your coil is full saturated before turning the device on. It uses a 30 watt blast to sense if the coil is TC or not.
