Hey guys, new here. I currently own a Mini istick and I would really enjoy an upgrade, but it's a pain having to decide. There's too much stuff on the market. I was thinking about a 50w iStick, but there's also Cloupor mini 30w, mvp2, smok m65... I am going to use the mod with an Aspire Atlantis and a nautilus Mini. So, which would be the most reliable and durable mod?

Hi muvilici and welcome to the forum. I have the iStick 50W and love it. (actually bought a second one). I use the Mini's at 12W. I got the 50W because I wanted a long battery life, and ability to go sub ohm later. I have yet to run the 50 to half way in the battery in a days use. Good luck.

I bet the SVD 2 could really take a few drops :). But I'm looking for 30W or more, and within the 50$ range on sites like fasttech or cigabuy. An adjustable center pin is also a must. I'm also looking for durability, because I'm thinking about sub-ohming along the way. Thank you so much for the great help, guys. I knew this was the right forum :)

Hello muvilici, welcome to ECF. Opinions will vary greatly about choosing your next device. For the most part, they all perform pretty well and they each have their own pros and cons. Take some time to research You Tube reviews and listen to what reviewers and users have to say about a particular device. You mentioned that two of your criteria is a spring loaded center pin and a particular price point; that's a good start. If you can determine a few more personal criteria eventually one or two devices become your primary choices and then you just pick one.

This is exactly what I did and after considerable research settled on a Sigelei 30 watt mini box mod. $52.99 from Fastech. You may not like it because it doesn't quite fit your criteria, but for me it was perfect.

Good luck,

Peter

Theres also the IPV1. IPV 2, IPV2X, IPV3, IPV4, Sigelei 50 watt, Sigelei 100 watt plus, Sigelei 150 watt, Variant, Smoktech 80 watt. There are tons of VW mods on the market and more and more being introduced every day. Honestly if you're just looking for 50 watts maybe the IPV2X or the Sigelei 50 watt would be great. Granted you'd have to buy batteries and a charger but when the batteries go bad you just recycle them instead of recycling the whole mod and buying a new one.

hi and welcome, with what you have said you want at the price you can afford I would go with the istick 50 or if you can swing a bit more the iPV mini 2, it costs a bit more but will go up to 70 watts

except, the iPV mini 2 isn't capable of delivering less than battery capacity (no buck) unlike the iPV mini 30 watt with simulated 'buck' using PWM, so I didn't recommend this device based on using a nautilus or other similar tanks.

Thank you sooo much again for all your help and great support! It seems like many of you are advising me to go with the iStick, and I love it. But 90% of the time I will be using the Nautilus Mini. How far can this clearo go regarding wattage? Wouldn't the 50w be useless? It wouldn't be if the istick would have a great lifespan. And it should, thinking the battery would last for like 4 days and the usual Li-Po battery goes around 350 cycles. Sorry to bother you so much, a noob like me is grateful for all the help he can get :).
