So looking around I see there are many options. I was wondering if someone can point me in the right place that has the cheapest genuine batteries that I should use. I need 18650s, but I don't know what amperage and mah I should aim for using the raptor chip that's able to max out at 20a. Can someone list me maybe 2-3 options for batteries?

Thanks guys.

Oh and I can use my ultra fire charger I have here, correct?

your gonna need some 18650s with a high amp rating of 35A or 40A, nothing lower than that. Mah ratings for them range from around 2100 to 2900. the problem with the 35A or 40A rating is that its a little misleading. that rating is a max rate but not continuous. the continuous is lower at probably 20A for those same batts. I suggest you visitIMRbatteries.com Your wholesale source for IMR Batteries & more! They have a large selection at good prices. When you visit look down the left side column for 18650. I think they have 39 or so. Scroll down to the Vamped Batts. They will work fine for your need. I strongly and I mean strongly recommend you do a lot of homework watching YouTube and asking a lot of questions here regarding your 120 watt device. They is way too much power for a new person to mess with. Go to Youtube and search for reviews on all the equipment you're using. Don't do anything until you are absolutely sure you know what you're doing. I am not being over cautious either. good luck

You need 30 amp batteries for that mod. Illumination Supply have a limited number of Sony VTC4, 2100 mAh in stock at $8.50 a piece. I think that's the best deal out there right now. I don't believe there are any authentic Sony VTC5's out there anywhere.

What model UltraFire charger do you have?

Also would it be smarter to spend a little more and get a name brand like Sony, Panasonic etc?

Since you can get authentic 30 amp Sony's for $8.50 a piece, IMO this should not be an issue :)

Ultra fire wf139 is the charger

That charger will do the job. Here's a review on it from someone who knows how to review chargers. If you don't want to wade through the notes and charts go down to the conclusions section near the bottom of the page. It's a cheap charger and has some drawbacks, but as long as it's charging batts to 4.2V you should be fine.

I don't feel comfortable buying any Sony vtc batteries any more.... Too many counterfeits. Even reputable vendors have had batches of counterfeit vtc's come through. Lately I've been using MXJO batteries, they have been working out well for me

Use the battery drain section.

Fill out the ohms of resistance your gonna use then select the batteies....Or plug in the presets for prospective acquisitions...

Keep at least 30% headroom unless your one of those "ragged edge" folks.

Anything under 10% headroom is trouble since coils may change 10% due to temperature variances and connection loss will also increase/decrease on newbie coils/builds.....:p (not trying to jab ya....If ya van build the same coil 3 times and get it to measure ON THE MOD what is measures on the meter your no longer a newbie!)

IMHO YMMV! :vapor:

I vape a Kayfun on efest 20amp batteries and jeep my builds above .8 ohms. According to the calc I can go to .4 but I dont trust the batteries to perform that well and I dont like charging batteries all day.
