I recently built a 2.4 ohm coil, 5 wraps of 32 gauge kanthal and wicked with cotton in my kayfun mini v3. Though it was a good build, good vapor and taste. Absolutely no dry taste. But when I pulled out the deck to check on it, this is what it looked like

Couldn't get my camera to focus right but the left side is amber color and the right is white like I just wicked it. Not really sure how but the flavor is almost perfect.

My cotton was fairly loose and even, I don't think it's choked on one side. Any ideas why it's so much darker on that one side?

My guess would be uneven heating. That leg\side has a hotspot.
