Wicking on a series build

Just got my Noisy Cricket by Wismec/jaybo today and loving it but have been having some small quirks with wicking.

I understand the amount of power thats being pushed through the coils but anyone have any tips for wicking on a build for an unregulated series box mod? Goal is to atleast get three puffs off it before having to drip if thats possible with a series box lol. Build I have in my Samurai is a .65/ dual 26 gauge/ 10 wrap/ 3mm ID and I usually get two good 3-4 second pulls but third draw starts to hint at a dry hit so I usually drip.

Basically what I'm asking is: for a series build, wick tighter or looser? I have it at a happy medium to where when installing the cotton, the coils would nudge over a tiny bit but not to where it gets off centered (i think the moving part is more because I'm using 26 gauge rather than the wicks being too tight). Anyone have any sushi rolling technique/scottish wicking technique or any other weird unnecessary wick tricks that you've had a good experience with on a series build?

Series mechanical battery mods double the battery voltage compared to a single battery mech mod. Regulated mods raise the voltage to make higher power, pretty much the same thing as using multiple batts to increase the voltage.

What affects your vape experience is the watts (power). I have not found I need to wick different for higher power than for less. As you know you're making around 90 watts with your build and that's going to go through a lot of juice per drag. The Samurai has the lower air slots which limits the juice capacity because of the metal around those slots and because it will leak through them if you fill past the top of these slots.

It's pretty easy to try more or less cotton in the coil, but I doubt this will make much difference for you. The amount of wick tail in the juice well might have an effect, I find less is generally better. Getting a RDA that holds more juice, or lowering the power would both help.

Alright thanks everyone, yea I could've just went in and tried fiddling with it myself before posting but I was just trying to save time and juice when priming the cotton lol I've just gotten so used to just carelessly throwing cotton in my builds without putting too much thought into how it should be done

Gonna try and mess with the build and see what I get

Honestly, I have a Samurai and it is never used. I had dry hits or flooding, the deck is too small. Look into the Forge V2 or the velocity. I am using a Velocity right now at .3 with 26 ga and can drip 12 to 15 drops and hit it like crazy before dripping and have no leaks. I have a fog zombie from usa made mods I love it but digging the velocity clone I have. The forge is close to the samurai as it is small and has the bottom airflow, it's a little tighter but not much , you can lung it easily. It has great flavor but I've had it a while and just wanted something else to look at, lol.
