Hey everyone, I got into vaping about 6 months ago and was wondering what would be the 'next step' for my vaping? I currently have an Aspire Nautilus tank and a
Vision Spinner II battery and I just want some advice on what the next logical step would be if I want to up my game. Budget would probably fall around 100-200$. Any suggestions/links/advice would be wonderful.

I would say your next step would be a better vv/vw device. If you're okay with clones, look into the Cloupor (Cana) DNA 30 Box Mod. It's awesome, I just got one myself and it stacks up right with the authentic Hana imo. If you're not into the box mod style, maybe a Sigelei 20W or 30W. they are are very powerful devices that allow you to broaden your range of vaping. They are even a good platform to move into rebuilding with Kayfun's or RDA's. I've heard good things about the Vamo V5, iTaste MVP 2.0, and the Provari.

There are a lot of directions you could go right now, personally I think you should go with one of the regulated devices listed above for now. However, you have the option of going with a mechanical mod as well.

With all of these options you will need new batteries and a new charger as well. Hopefully one of those look enticing!

I would upgrade either or both your battery device (your eGo Spinner) and your juice attachment (the Nautilus).

Although I've heard some good things about the Nautilus with air flow control (I've vaped one of my friends), its still a clearomizer. Clearomizers have limitations with their wicking. Tiny silica strings (silica mutes flavors) with little surface area tends to produce variations from dry/burnt hits to flooding, gurgling, juice in the mouth or juice on the battery. Inconsistant.

Move up to either a cartotank or a Kayfun-style rebuildable atomizer (RBA). Cartotanks provide better flavor and consistancy due to the increased volume of wick surface area inside the cartomizer. I've never had a cartotank leak e-liquid.

If you don't mind learning how to wrap your own coils, a Kayfun-style RBA will be like a cartotank on steroids. Higher learning curve initially, but not all that difficult, but the results are superior in the end.

For your battery device, I recommend a Provari. $159 gets you a solid USA-built and extremely reliable mod with a 1 year warranty; Provape will continue to support the Provari even after the warranty expires (unlike Chinese-made mods). Variable voltage, superior voltage regulation (last puff as good as the first), built-in voltage and resistance meters, wide choice of color finishes.

Why Provari?

IMHO, go with a DNA 30 device of some sort. Clouper makes an awesome one at a very reasonable price. Having 30 watts of power gives you plenty of room to grow and explore different attys, RDAs and RBAs alike. It will pretty much fire anything you want. Also depending how far you want to go with vaping, get you a Kayfun, or my new personal favorite a Taifun. The kayfun is more user friendly as far as building, but I'm loving the flavor and vapor I'm getting out of my Taifun GT. All personal preference really though.. And for at home vaping get you an RDA, right now I'm using a Zenith V2, which I love so far. Dripping will seriously change your vaping world. Best flavor you're going to get is through a dripper. Again all of this is subjective, and will take some trial and error. But if I were you, I seriously would skip straight to a DNA30. I've had Provaris, and Vamos, and mechanicals, along with a lot of others, and have always felt limited until I got a DNA. Just my opinion though! Good luck in your search!

I agree with most, the only little piece I'd throw in is look at the sx series chips too, the sx330 and sx350 are serious competition for the DNA mods. They seem to have a little more versatility than the dna, running 30, 35, 50, and coming out with 100 watts soon (seems excessive but you never know) but don't have quite as long of a track record, albeit they aren't all that new, so it's a little bit of a trade off I suppose.

Yea I think you see now a general question like that get you a million realy good answers. First you need to decide what is important to you. Do you like to tinker, do you want to blow clouds, is flavor more important. There is no righT answer to the question what is my next step. That is what makes vaping so much fun and addicting!
