Swan coils, 24g nichrome60, .24ohm.
It's a little hotter than I wanted, but the flavor is amazing! FEEDBACK!!!!

P.s. Please keep safety comments to yourself. I am experienced and take all necessary precautions. Ty

Did some (although I recall someone trying to make the name "Zardoz" stick, the "tornado" coil - is a name seemingly most associated) a few months ago - as a single vertical on a Russian 91% with Rene41 wire, and duals on a Trident... again in a vertical orientation, with 26ga Kanthal.

On a single coil kayfun type application, an advantage is - no need for the top coil tail requirement of multiple bends (and wasted resistance) to reach the terminal screw.
In a similar orientation idea - wrapping a coil, then with the same wire, wrapping backwards to the start point has a similar result... but the "inner coil" doesn't receive much air, so although technically interesting, not very practical.

I find they, the tornado coil that is, do not offer any distinct flavor advantage, but the vertical orientation advantage - in appropriate applications - can be very useful... IMO.

All of the wire is outside of the wick with this one. But the kayfun application sounds very interesting. I will have to try that soon.
