Hi all....

I wasn't even a cigarette smoker and bought a Rival ecigs!

Tried a friends and liked it... it seemed safer than my cigars I would casually smoke.

I am eyeing up the Kick Bass stuff lately. Need more posts to PM him too.


Should I drop off using carts to go to a carto? Are there really more advantages?

I like cartomizers because they hold more. I just ordered a bunch of clear cartomizers, because I got tired of trying to guess whether my carto was empty or I was just drawing too much. But even with that, the cartomizer provided a clear improvement over the atomizer/cartridge because it would last me a couple of hours, instead of refilling every few draws.

+2 for the cartomizers. I really held out trying them, boy, what a mistake! You go way longer before a refill, I don't forever need to be topping off, and no more atty troubles! The atty is in the carto, so when it goes, you just pop on a new one, easy. I now exclusively use cartos on my RN4081, and Clearomizers on my 510, and there is joy in the land.

Cart's are a PITA in my opinion, I either drip or use carto's. Cart's just don't offer much advantage to me over dripping. I've seen a few posts where former cigar smokers were finding the Leo to be a good replacement. You might want to check it out.

Cartomizers have advantages. No more carrying extra bottles of juice and easier/safer to use when driving. Fill some up in the beginning of the week, and you don't have to worry about anything else other than your batteries.

Cartomizers also have disadvantages. Can be a pain to fill but still worth it. Don't over-vape or you'll burn the filler inside then they taste nasty. Harder to clean.

If you tend to be out and about and don't want to fiddle with dripping, cartomizers can be really helpful solution to that. I would definitely pick some up so that you can have bunch ready to go.

Hey and welcome I will be getting clear cartomizers soon which are nice for on the go when dripping is hard to do or when you just don't want to drip but I'm at home most of the time and drip. It all depends on what you want to do but cartomizers are nice to have too. Congrats on vaping!

I drip at home, but use cartos while out. I'm looking at getting a nice juice fed mod for long drives. I can empty a full carto on my drive to work and would like to not have to switch cartos on longer trips in the car.

The Boge cartos are easy peasy to fill. Just pop off the white cap and drip in about 15 drops, wait a bit, and more until you have about 25 drops in. If the carto has a vaguely burnt taste when you first fire it up, the juice hasn't soaked through to the coil.

I've tried 3 methods of filling the boge carto's: 1) dripping from the top by popping off the white cap, but it never seemed to saturated the carto properly, especially the bottom of the carto, and yes I have watched many youtube videos on how to do it.2) then tried the syringe and had problems with inserting the needle down the side of the carto and flooding. 3) the condom method. It was the least hassle of all for me. I fill from the battery connection end and saturation of the filler from bottom to top allows me to get the most juice possible with the smallest amount of hassle--usually about 1ml of juice.

None of my cartomizers have any filler and after removing the silicone rings, I just drip until full and vape away for a long time. Piece of cake.

Two weeks in and I have already used Carts, Cartos, and drip!

I am hooked!!! Got my first order of Kick Bass coming on Tuesday...

I am now eyeing up the Vapemate for my Riva 750, but I think 50 bucks (more than what I spent on my Riva kit) is a bit much?

Any thoughts on the Bottom Feeders out there?
