New buy with a few questions

Hi folks,

I'm brand new to this forum, haven't even started using e-cigs yet, but I want to.

I wanted to know if I could get anyone's help with a few things (no surprise there).

1. I live in Mississauga, Ontario (just outside of Toronto) - does anyone know of any retail outlets/sellers in Toronto, Ontario for e-cig products, and if not, what is the best (and most cost effective) brand you would recommend?

2. Any recommendations for a newbie on buying a product, i.e. how many chargers, etc.

3. What is this 'juice' I keep reading about? Sounds like a supplementary product.

Falk Hello and welcome--to answer your questions:

(1) hit on the Suppliers tap on top and you will see a list of vendors in Canada--but many here in the US sell to them;

(2) Many models out there but the DSE901 seems to be a favorite for a lot of the forum members Check www.puresmoker.com;

(3) Go to www.johnsoncreeksmokejuice.com and you can see a good example of e-liquid. You use it to fill your own blank cartridges as opposed to buying prefilled which really are not that great and very expensive

Supplies--get a starter pack--a couple of extra batteries and atomizers as these really are disposable items, a usb passthough so that you do not need a battery around the house as you plug it into your computer or any USB powersourse including portable ones, and blank cartridges with a syringe to fill them--Hope that is helpful and Happy vaping--Sun

I gotta say, Sun pretty much hit the nail on the head. Also, as far as reviews go, the user parked, on this forum, has done tons of reviews and they are quite helpful when deciding which e-cig to purchase! I personally own the Janty Dura and love it! Hope you find one you like as well!

Depending on what your looking for............

If you want an only two piece device with disposable cartridges that contain a new atomizer every time you replace it, then I recomend the Smoke-51. And although your cartridges are desposable, they CAN be refilled with juice (do a search and you'll find one of my posts where I cover my succesful proceedure at doing it).

If your looking for a multi-piece device that you can either use pre-filled cartridges or you can easily addapt the routine of re-filling with a multitude of flavours and higher stregths of nicotine, then I recommend the Janty Dura.

So far your best bet would be to order it from Jeff at JantyUSA, but I'm not sure of the stock availability right now. Link: JANTY DURA - Janty USA

Just note though, that our Canadian dollar sucks huge in US exchange and shipping is expensive and slow to clear customs.

These are the two that I have personally perchased and used. They BOTH have been great for me and do as their advertised.

I wouldn't have bothered purchasing the Dura had I not been interested in a higher dose of nicotine and a greater choice of flavours using e-juice from Johnsons Creek.
