New BVC coils Flooding...Help please!

Hi all
just blew through 2 pkgs of 1.8 BVC coils on 3 Aspire Tanks. After putting in a new coil within hours they are getting over saturated. Here my set up~ Provari Mini, start off at at 3.6 work my way up to 4.1, largest air hole, 50/50 juice. What the heck am I doing wrong! I've tired blowing the excess juice out the coil, cleaning all parts but nothing I'm doing is working. Any tips would be amazing! Oh ya I'm not overfilling my beloved Sir Mac. I try to keep the tank nearly full. I'm loosing juice and my mind

what i do when i flood the coil:

1. Hold the device parallel to the ground (assuming you are on a flat surface, not a hill lol) with the air hole (on the largest hole) pointing down
2. Blow into the drip tip so juice will come out until no more juice comes out (use a towel to catch the juice)
3. Turn the device so the hole is now on top and take like 5 forceful hits.

works for me every time. if it doesn't work it might be something else?

I can't believe how often I have to do this! I'm loosing lots of juice. it seems to be better for the moment! Thanks for the tip!

it seems very hit and miss. There are lots of threads about the bvc's. I have one that works fine, been going strong for over 2 weeks (i use several mods) and one that i had to throw away after a few days (basically 1.5 tanks, and i'd say 1/4 of that was wasted on primer hits or juice spewing out)

hmm... did you try just firing it for a few secs, pulsing, without drawing..
the only BVC that ever flooded was when I punched extra holes in mine with a carto punch.. without knowing that wasn't necessary with these..

I hate the 3 Nautilus tanks I have. I think they are junk! They leak like hell...went through 2 pkgs of BVC coils and have terrible flooding issues. What a wait of money! I hope Aspire gets there .... together!

Yeah I've had varied results with the BVC. First one great, second and third flood terribly, 4th works... These are from the same blister pack. I'm going back to the BDC coils - I very rarely had any problems with those.

Sorry to hear you are having problems. Check to make sure your seals are good. Always make sure you are tightening everything. After filling make sure you tighten the tank from the bottom and not above the air-holes. I've done that and it loosened up my coil getting a gurgling.

I can go 2 weeks on the BVC w/o any problems....I soak the coils with Everclear, rinse and let dry.

In Massachusetts they don't sell Everclear. I have 3 full size Nautilus Aspire. I just blew though 2 boxes of BVC 1.8 coils. Leaking and gurgling...all of them. I don't know whether it's the tank or the coils. I've tried everything... Every time I Vape I hear the gurgling. When I blow through the largest air hole holding the unit horizontally the juice keeps poring out and never stops. Could it be the rubber gasket on all 3 are shot? Is there a test to see if this is the problem or do you think it's the coils? I didn't even have this problem with the older style coils. I'm so frustrated. Any suggestions? Thanks! Below is the rubber part I'm taking about.

Try using vodka on the BVC to clean it out. Make sure the BVC is completely dry before installing it again.....this make take more days ( 2 or more ). I use warm water to clean the tank, drip tip and the base ( where the coil fits into ). I use paper toweling to dry the tank, drip tip and very gently for the base. I also use a higher VG ratio.

I have had no problems with the BVC's myself. I have had the coil loosen considerably from the base during refills though. That would certainly cause leaking and gurgling.

Hope this does take care of your problems....once you get the Aspire Nautilus working it should perform flawless for you. The flavor is fantastic and the coils should last longer.

Sounds like juice might be getting around the coil past the bottom seal. You check to make sure there isn't anything in the base interfering with the seal from the coil to the base?
I have 2 minis and one works great and the other floods. I can take a flooded coil out of my wonky mini and put it in the good one and it doesn't flood. Not sure if this helps you or not...

I have been having the same flooding problem. I took the top off of my Nauti, and the lip on the top of the glass tank had chipped. I removed the sliver of glass, cleaned everything up, re-assembled, and it seems to be vaping fine. I believe the flooding comes from a seal issue.

UPDATE...It started flooding on my way home, so I stopped and got a replacement tank. It has been vaping perfectly since. It was definitely a seal problem for me.

I had a BVC flood once. Now I just screw my coil on to the center post first and then I screw on the base.
