What id like to do is mass update all the recipes to have Vendor B's PG. Is this possible to do?
I would simply use the "Find and Replace" feature found in the "Edit" tab. Select the out-of-stock vendorin the "Find" bar; then select the PG vendor you want to use instead in the "Replace" bar. If you don't anticipate ordering from the first vendor again; you can check the "Delete "Find ingredient" after replacing" box and the operation will completely remove that ingredient from your inventory. If you might use again, or want to keep any notes attached to the ingredient, leave box unchecked.

When you have the operators set the way you want; click on "Replace." Your done.

Sure enough. Perhaps that is something @HotRod19579 can address in a future update.

I apologize for the misdirection. I'm afraid I don't have any other bulk/mass change suggestions.

That would've been the right answer. Perhaps it will help someone in the future. Thanks for responding though

Hotrod, said it before but I'll say it again, thank you 1000 times for the best juice software ever IMHO
My best ever just became unstable. I installed W10 2 weeks ago and now the calculator just stops and closes often when I add a ingredient to the recipe. Not every time but pretty often.
Now every add I make I save or else all is lost. Am I alone or was this observed before?

I haven't heard of anyone having issues running the app in Win 10, I am also using win 10. Are you getting any kind of exception message when it closes?

Version 7.0.1.6 is available for download. Changes include:

1. Added the ability to find/replace PG and VG ingredients in the "Edit->Find and replace ingredients" menu.

2. Made updates to the label printing to better support label printers. Changes were tested with a Dymo 450 printer. Also added a paper type definition for "Dymo 30330" labels.

Thanks for the update Rod!
I'm eager to try the label printer features since I have had to do my label printing separately.

I don't have the brand you tested with though. I have a Brother.
I'll be happy if it works at all though because label printing is really mundane when it comes to new recipes.
Existing recipes are no problem since I save each recipe label anyways.

Thanks again bud.

Let me know how it works, the difficult part is defining the paper definition, layout of the paper. Also, you should only use the "Print label Advanced". I am considering removing the "Print label" feature. It is my first attempt at printing labels and there is a lot that it can't do.

Feature suggestion if it doesn't exist (don't see how to do this yet): Duplicate Recipe

I would like to be able to duplicate my existing recipe so I can tweak/add/remove ingredients for trying other variations without having to start a new recipe and add all the same ingredients back with different values.
It can be found under the "Edit" tab. Second from the top; "Copy Recipe."

I am looking into adding some support for hot keys

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I noticed that there is at least one hotkey built in, not sure if intentional: I was editing a note, highlighted some text and did Ctrl+X to cut some text so I could paste it to a different location in the notes and it prompted me there were unsaved changes and asked me if I wanted to close without saving.... Ctrl+A in the note editor window (trying to select all so I can delete) opens the add ingredients to shopping list window.

It can be found under the "Edit" tab. Second from the top; "Copy Recipe."

ugg, thanks. I figured it should be possible but am only starting to learn the software and DIY. I did give that menu a quick look but it has been a long day and I missed it.

No worries! :D Believe me; I have asked far more obvious questions than that! We're all here for one another. This thread, the support from HotRod, and the support of fellow users, is part of what makes this calculator so great!
