I'm going to plug the thread that Tepid started again- look here- http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/599315-ejuicecalculator-recipe-trading-thread.html
I've posted an xml file of my entire library there, and as is explained in my post, contains much of TFA/TPA line of juice among a few others. If TFA is your brand of choice, you'd be most of the way to a fully updated library just by importing that xml. (you'd also get a ton of killer recipes to try)
If you choose not to do this, I believe you are complicating the ingredient adding process. All you really need to do is put in the ingredient names. As long as YOU know which company made then, you're fine. It's totally unnecessary if you only use one flavour manufacturer as well.
This program has a ton of features for advanced mixers, but much of it is totally un-needed for a beginner who just wants to get in and start mixing.
Add your ingredients by name, and start crafting recipes.
Bonus Tip- What I did, was go to this website- e-Liquid Calculator
Just start checking out the recipes. When you find one you like, start building it in the calculator, adding the needed ingredients as you go along. Then you'll have a full library in no time, and some great recipes to mix up as well.
I was able to get the files down with no problem but what happened to the stuff I had in the program first go around? still tryign to learn the interface for listing all the juices and flavors..
Keep in mind, that when you just open an XML, that is not importing it.
To import one XML to another.
Have your initial Recipe file open and then,,,
Tools / Import from Recipe Calculator (.xml file)
Find the XML you want to import and choose that one.
You can then select all recipes, or only the ones you want to import.
When finished, click save.
You will need to locate your original XML Recipe file, wherever you saved it initially.
Rod, maybe you could change that from "Import from Recipe Calculator (.XML File)"
to "Import EJC Recipe File (.XML File)"
Time for a link to download, please?

Have to give testimony tonight, thanking you for this great juice calculator.
I started to mix a 60 ml batch of RY4 that uses TFA RY4 Double. Before I realized what I was doing, I had been looking at the Nic line on quantity instead of the RY4 line and had added 12 grams of RY4 to the nic mix that was already in the bottle. Crap. Now what! So ended up adding the other 4 ingredients as though I was making the 60 ml, then went to the "Modify Recipe" tool and increased the volume to make until it reached the volume of RY4 that was already there. Then added the increased amount of the other ingredients and problem solved.......except I now have 220 ml of RocketPuppy's RY4. Yes, it's good stuff but will take quite a while to use that much.
One more time, this is an excellent calculator.

I attempt to copy text from a web page and paste it into the note section. When I use a right mouse click I am given only grayed out options to cut/paste etc...the ctrl-v function still pastes normally. Could you enable right mouse click for this function? Your program absolutely rocks! I encourage everyone to donate! There are 2 links from within the Help function!
Thanks for making my DIY calculating life the easy part!
Edit: BTW-Austin Rocks! We miss our home!
I figured it out under edit / maintain mfg list/ create new save.. Sorry to post a stupid question without looking first..
