I attempt to copy text from a web page and paste it into the note section. When I use a right mouse click I am given only grayed out options to cut/paste etc...the ctrl-v function still pastes normally. Could you enable right mouse click for this function? Your program absolutely rocks! I encourage everyone to donate! There are 2 links from within the Help function!
Thanks for making my DIY calculating life the easy part!

Yes, I have noticed this as well.
Only if you copy from the app, does it allow the right click paste to it.

I am guessing that you are not using IE as your web browser. I was not having any issues so I decided to try it using Chrome and seen the issue. In the version I just made available this problem is resolved however, when pasting from a browser such as Chrome the only option is to paste as "plain text", rich text format is not available.

I just made version 4.0.2.4 available. Changes include:
1. The re-order ingredient option would throw an exception when the 2nd to the last ingredient was moved down. Fixed.
2. Changed the label "Tools->Import from recipe calculator" to "Tools->Import EJC Recipe file".
3. The program wasn't allowing a paste from browsers other than IE when using the right-click context menu. Fixed.

Bingo. Thanks for the fix.

A new version was made available, 4.0.2.6.

It resolves what I hope to be the final issue with re-ordering ingredients. On occasion, ingredients in the recipe window would overlap after being re-ordered.

I also have added the distribution of a juice file to help you get started with recipes and ingredients. The juice file was created from contributions in the EJuiceCalculator Recipe Trading thread.

The file is called "Recipe Starter Kit.xml" and is located in the directory where the calculator application is installed which by default is "C:\Program Files\EJuiceCalculator" for 32-bit Windows and "C:\Program Files (x86)\EjuiceCalculator" on 64-bit Windows. Please remember that if you open the file you should "Save as" to another location to avoid the risk of future updates overwriting any changes that you might apply.

Thanks for the new update.
there are still issues with saving after moving ingredients around.
Also, Ingredients in the Portable Version are not always in the same order as the Installed version.
Kinda strange. I think to lessen the load for dev'ing at this stage, getting rid of Portable would be OK
more than likely I am the only one using it.

If you keep the main installed version as is, I can just copy it out no problem. It works.

But the saving issue does appear in both the Installed and Portable Version.

anytime i try and d/l this chrome says the file is malicious and wont let me d/l it....... works fine in firefox...........perhaps i should finish reading this thread first to see if it has already been mentioned lol
I was able to successfully download from both the Google and the Dropbox download sites using Chrome without any issues or warnings. Is it Chrome giving you the warning message or is it your virus software?

There was someone else that posted in the thread that said the same thing but I have tried it from several PC's without issue and others have also stated they have no issues.

I've said it before, I'll say it every time, and I am always proven right, Chrome sucks, and is a garbage browser.

Has this made it over to iOS/ Mac Yet? Out of all of the Calculators I've tried this is by far my favorite...

Based off my experience with Linux, you could just use 'Wine' or some other emulator to run this program on a Mac OS.
I'm not big into programming, but I THINK the creator would have to actually own a Mac to program for it.

Hotrod, is there a reason you can't delete ingredients when you use the Ingredient Editor? Copy and Paste are there but no Delete. I have a bunch that were imported at one time that I would like to delete, but it's very cumbersome, unless I just haven't found how to do it more easily.

Thanks.
I have been working on the "Delete" option and have just made it available in the current version.

Tepid, I believe that I found the issue and resolved it in the version that was just made available.
