Im new to vaping and this is my first e-cig. I was hoping someone could help me with what it actually is. They didn't tell me a lot about it when I got it. I picked up a double vaporizer kit. The batteries say "ego t" on them. Other then that I don't know anything about them except how to use them. They do have tanks and screw in mouth pieces. Can anyone tell me what I have here and what the parts are? Thanks for any help

Sounds like you might have an Ego-twist. Does the bottom of the battery twist to different settings? The tanks that usually come with the new kits are a disposable tank such as a Ce4 or something similar. Without seeing it I cannot tell. Some kits do come with a Kanger evod or t3 or something similar to that.
In all it sounds like you got a pretty decent set up. That is what I started with also and I still use it in my rotation today.

Welcome to ECF .. well it sounds like you're off to a good start...
I might suggest you take a picture and upload it here..
the Battery, is probably a variable voltage battery.. turning the spinner on the bottom perhaps.
and when looking at the tanks that screw on.. do you see strings < wicks > ? .. which makes the name of that tank a clearomizer...
keep researching . and look in some of the Advertisers here and match up what they have and link to that and we can help you easier..
Blessings and joy on the Journey.. be patient with yourself..

It is an "Ego" battery - and the next step up would be to get one with "variable voltage" which let's you turn the power "up or down" to get the flavor and vapor you want.

The TOP is a cheap "clearomizer" - and you probably SHOULD think about getting some that might work better.
An example would be an "EVOD" - you'll need to replace the coils inside when they stop working well - but the EVOD works better, is only about $6, and the coils are everywhere. Coils are in different "resistance" - but with a fixed-voltage battery like yours, you'll want a low number - like 2.0. This is compatible with your battery.

Any recommendations for a good affordable variable voltage battery? Originally I was just going to use this to help myself stop dipping but im starting to enjoy it even more then I did dip. I have been tobacco free for a little more then 24 hours(I know not much but its a start) and I really enjoy vaping.

Hi and Welcome! That is a standard eGo batery, great that you have 2! The clearos should be the first thing you upgrade. You may find that you are happy without upgrading your batteries with a better "topper". Try out a few like the above mentioned evods, protank, protank mini, vivi nova (regular or slim) Iclear 16. They are very inexpensive. Poke around on google and look for those above and see what intrigues you. The ones listed are only a few of many with replaceable coils that wont break the bank :)

You can add an eGo Twist, Vision Spinner or a Smok Winder to your gear very inexpensively also if you do want to go variable voltage.

It is a very fun and enjoyable hobby - congrats on day 1 down - it is A LOT accomplished. Its the hardest day there is!!!
