New Canadian Facebook page

Hello all,

We have created a new Facebook page dedicated to information about vaping & social chatting in general. We prefer to call it a family. Included in here are great vendors in Canada that both support us and we support. Every once in a while, a contest is held. Unfortunately the winners must be in Canada, but the page us literally gone international lately with Americans & Europeans now members.

We are always on the lookout for vendors willing to join & donate prizes for various contests.

Question: Why is the page/group not public? I refuse to sign-in to my Facebook account just to view stuff like this. You may be losing much of your audience due to this.

I hit Join. Just waiting for a response.
I can understand why it's private. On a public page you can get all kinds of nut jobs and spammers, on a private, someone has to let you join, keeping most spammers out.

its private so that people like the government and related people fighting to ban it dont look into it. its also private because its 18+.

Considering there's absolutely no way to verify whether someone requesting access is a politician, law enforcement or a plain ol' e-cig user, setting a Farce, errrr, Facebook page as private is an exercise in futility IMO.

why not just join Canadian Vapers on facebook? We have well over 1400 members and are growing like crazy every day
