I got a Kanger KR808D-1. Mainly because I have friends who recommended them and figured it would be a good start for me. I didn't want to blow money on something basic and that is likely to bust on me lol Youtube has been my friend I've learned alot. I also bought a few flavour of ejuice and can't wait till everything gets here. I want to quit analogs sooo bad :)

Yeah Tom at canvape said they are working on theirs so I tried from a couple of other vendors.. juicy clear and maple leaf vapes. I ordered them all at the same time but looks like my kit will get here faster than the juice lol So I can't start till they arrive. Juicy clear said they shipped today so I imagine from BC I won't get it till Friday not sure where Maple leaf is located. I'm hoping to get more opinions on juice w/nic from the cdn forum but am waiting for my hr to be able to post there :)

Well I got my new KR808 kit yay! But now I'm itching to try it lol. Well when I emailed maple leaf they said they would ship it out this morning so I imagine I'll get it tomorrow. The actuall tobacco flavoured ones I got are from juicy clear and what my husband wanted so those are BC I guess they will arrive Friday. I do have a tracking number though so at least I can anxiously check it every so often lol I've never been so excited about quitting I guess that's a good start!

I love mapleleaf vapes. We got the Moosejuice which we loved. The cheesecakes were really good too. I think Blueberry was my favorite. We just placed another order yesterday for their Christmas Blowout Sale (Holy good Prices :) Plus we got a bunch of 3ml samples of their holiday flav's etc. If everything is good we are going to stock up on them all.

I started smoking when I was 15 and quit 2 months ago. I'm almost 31 now and I smoked for almost 16 years. I tried the Nicorette inhaler, the patch, the gum, cold turkey, cutting down, all of them over and over again but Vaping made it so easy. After the first week my cravings for actual cigarettes was gone. My fiance quit too and best part is we didn't gain any weight or tear eachother's heads off :) We are still finding our groove on what we like etc. It can be frustrating cause there are so many options but overall that is the fun part.

Hey there lovemyhubby! Welcome to the forum, and congrats on taking the plunge into the vaping world!

It's hard to find a juice you like when you first start vaping. Your taste buds change on a daily basis and even when you do find one you love you might hate the next day. lol. Not trying to scare you, just letting you know what my experience was.

Most people who are switching to vaping choose tobacco flavours to try to mimic the taste of a cigarette, but you won't find anything that tastes like a cigarette. You might find that you prefer fruity flavours (even though you thought that would never be your taste) or dessert flavours, or menthol. I found that even though I hated menthol cigarettes, menthol was the most satisfying for me in the morning and after meals. I still like adding a few drops of menthol to fruit e-juices to crisp 'em up a bit.

I would recommend that you buy a bunch of sample-sized juices to see what you're 'into'. Jugheads.co has a really nice range of flavours and has really good quality, very 'real' tasting juices. They have just the right amount of sweetness IMHO and don't taste artificial at all. They sell 3ml sample sizes for only $1.99 each! For that price you can try a really good range of juices without breaking the bank. I just got my order in the mail yesterday -18 samples. I was like a kid in a candy store trying all those flavours! They also now sell a couple of Halo juices (a popular US line). The Tribecca is supposed to be one of the most popular tobacco juices out there.

Jugheads ships fast and has great customer service. They'll also throw in a free drip trip of your choice with every order (just write down your choice in the comments section). On top of all that, they have a monthly draw (100 ml of your choice of juice) that you're entered in with every order.

I am NOT affiliated with Jugheads at all. lol. I've just had really good experiences with them so I wanted to pass along the info to others.

Good luck with everything and happy vaping!:)

Lunabella.. thank you for your post.. really does make sense.. I will check out jugheads as well as I do like the idea of sampling. I'm just hoping the cravings for cigarettes die off fast lol I hope the juice comes tomorrow so I can start my vaping experience yay! Will keep everyone posted on how it goes. I'll be lurking in the canadian forum as well.
