New cartomizer advice

When you fill a new cartomizer for the first time only put a little in to test it first. Why waste the full 2+ml of juice on a cart that could be DOA. I found out the hardway today on an eGo Mega cart that ended up being just that. Hope this helps someone else.

Don't you fill those with a syringe? Just stick it back in the carto and draw the juice back out. I've saved juice on a doa kr8 carto by taking the mouth cap off, putting a condom halfway on and doing that spin thing. The juice can then be dripped into another carto. I don't think you can do it that way with your eGo ones but the syringe would work.

Yep that's what I was talking about Spider, but because of the design of the eGo megas, I don't think that will work. They have a port fill hole rather than an open top. Of course, I could be wrong...I often am

I've never seen one, so I have no idea what they look like.

You're probably right, though. Another way may have to be found to empty them.

Just leave it to the members here. They'll soon find a way...

I guess I misunderstood your post. I thought my suggestion would help you salvage the juice since you said you learned the hard way.

Yeah, it would have helped with that one, but being a bone head and a little po'd at the time the cart got trashed. lol

LOL I bet, had it been me it probably would have made a hole in my wall. Thank goodness my temper has mellowed with age

All you have to do us pull out the filler, stuff it in a condom, and then suck it put with a "dropper." (no need for a ....-plug)

There is no pulling out the filler with the mega eGo cartos. There is a piece you have to put a syringe through to get the juice in.

If we are talking a bad carto, I am sure it could be cut, pried, or otherwisely pulled out... . couldn't it?
