New coil

Hi! I've been on vaping on my Subox Nano now for month and i changed my coil from the default .5 to 1.5 coils and ive noticed liquids wont taste so good anymore! Its not about vapers tongue but the liquid just wont taste as good. I used to have around 30 watts on my .5 coil with largest airflow it used to be my sweetspot. but for now im at around 14watts with smallest airflow and that seems to be the best i can get out of it. If the airflow is fully open on these coils its just even worse. Any suggestions what to do or buy better coils? The coils which i use now are Kangertech vertical OCC coils, i noticed too i get occasionally dry hits.

Try different coils that will work with your equipment. I don't care for vertical coils very much...

I will try The default .5 Kangertech vertical coil was just perfect for vapor and taste IMO.

I'd suggest going back to the .5 coils then.

Sounds like the cotton is compacted and not wicking properly.

I'd suggest going back to the .5 coils then.

Agreed. I stopped using my subtank nano for a while, then they released the vertical coils and i'm back in love again. Those .5 verticals are quite lovely.
The 1.5 ohm coil I believe was intended for mouth to lung hits and so you won't get a good vape off them trying to lung inhale.
