New coils, still burning taste in clearomizer

So this started in my PT2 Mini, now in my fav Clearo, innokin 30S. I've tried changing to new coils, I use about double the ohm for voltage, I.E. 4.2V for 1.2 ohm coil, and still same problem. If I lower the voltage, it will take longer than the 4-5 vapes to burn, but within 10 vapes will still burn.

Since I started mech's and rba's I have mot worried about it much, but now I would like to use them and same problem. Has anyone experienced this weird problem?

If your using higher vg liquid I would remove a flavor wick to get the juice in faster to the pt. As for the 30s I am unsure what help those work better.

To prime my coils/wicks I block the airflow and hit it lightly without firing. This sucks the liquid into the wicking area.

Sorry I don't mean brand new, I just meant newer coils so nobody thought the coils were old

I will try that on my PT2 Mini. Thank you, but the juice is also 50/50 so idk if that's the problem

I use 50/50 as well....perhaps it is a bit thick,

You get a burnt taste because at 4.2V 1.2ohm you're vaping at almost 15W and that's a lot more then the PT2 can handle.

With 4.2V i wouldn't go under 1.6ohms (11W)
