How about finding 10 items on your website that add up exactly to a predetermined dollar amount. Say for instance you tell everyone to find the 10 items that add up to $ 103.46 and it could be 3 of this item and 1 of that...etc. Than you pick the winner from all the correct entries using a random number generator. Think you would get ALOT of people searching products on your website....and by the end of the contest most people entering would have good knowledge of your product line.

PS....I'm a taxidermist but have 32 years as a Marketing Director as well. Just my 2 cents! : )

I think it would be fun to do a contest where everyone has to play a game on either facebook (Bejeweled or Bubble Popp, or similar) and take screenshots of their high score. Then post the screen shot.. after a specified amount of time, high score wins of course. I think a way to referee that would be for everyone that enters the contest, add Shawn on their facebook, and all people in the contest, when they get a high score, post the score on their wall via the application.. so there is a double-check for score authenticity.

Could also do this with sites like addictinggames.com (kitten cannon!) and just post screenshots of high scores :)

guess the number?

hunt the thread? this forum's so large u could pick a post at random, post the quote (w/o the link back or name) and then the contestants respond who said it in what thread. (should keep ppl busy for awhile if u pick a middle post in a large thread etc.)

create the slogan? where people try to come up for a slogan for litecig (could work w/ anything else you want input on as well)

that's my ideas for now will come back w/ more when i have more time :)

How about a virtual "Amazing Race" per se where you give clues to the first destination and once there, you get the next clue until you reach the "mat" or finish line? It could also be done by providing all the clues at once and having people PM you their answers so that everyone really gets to finish but the first one or first few with the best times win. We've done that on a site I help run and its been a blast. I havent read all the posts so if someone has already mentioned something like this..I apologize..not trying to copy.

its an idea I posted before but have a fill in the blank game releasing a sentence or riddle every time period, the first letter (or last or whatever) of each solution being a celebrity, city, or a product on the site -- and you wouldn't specify right away what kind of final solution it'd be. it could be any of the above but you could leave a clue somewhere on your site..

I'm not sure if the term 'final solution' should ever be used!!

how about a 20 question game, you give an answer each hour to a basic set of questions (bigger than a breadbox, heavier than my mom, etc.) and the first person to post the answer wins, only one guess per person per hour.......or even better, every three or four questions so they'd have to be educated guesses and it would get rid of the random dartboarding of objects.
