Well i started with the typical Ego, moved up to a Vamo/protank and thought I had found my perfect combination.
A few weeks ago I decided to treat myself to a Provari. Again I thought I had found perfection. I researched a lot and didn't think at the time I wanted to go mech, so I bought the best VV device I could find. I had a Genesis style tank as well but could never get it working very well, so it kind of soured me towards RBAs.
On a whim I started reading on this forum about how great REOs were, blah blah blah and decided I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I saw that they had an amazing resale value, so it would be no loss.
Well, my Provari arrived about 10 days before my REO Grand with RM2 did. Since my REO arrived, the only thing my Provari has done is check my coil resistance. Even with my horrible coil wrapping skills, I have absolutely no desire at all in the world to touch a protank ever again. As a last ditch to try to salvage my Provari I just ordered a kayfun Lite tank for it, hopefully it will be a decent backup vape.
Now I can see what all the fuss is about. Simple, works every time. RM2 is ridiculously forgiving. I almost ordered a mini but am holding off until hopefully some anodized models come available. Thanks again Rob, from now on when smokers come to me for recommendations I'm just going to tell them to skip all of the crap that I had and just get a REO from the start.
