That's been my experience with the DCC tank setup as well, vapor production and flavor is pretty weak, I believe it's a voltage issue, the Ego batts just don't have what it takes to get the DCC's going, or any other carto for that matter.
I've just ordered the K-go kit, mainly for the batteries, if you have a look at the reviews you'll find their performance quite impressive for an Ego style batt, I'm hoping these batteries will revive my DCC's.

can't speak on the tank/ego combo performance as I don't have one, but I've had absolutely 0 problems using various dual coil cartomizers (SMOK/EchoE/etc) with my egoT battery, i use DC cartomizers almost exclusively now. plenty of vapor/flavor.

same here..just make sure your battery is fully charged and have spares..they will drain them.
i use a 900 and 1000 ego battery

i also use the dct on my box mod with a 18650 battery and yes it works better

as far as break in, i have not experienced any break in issues.

It could be the ego doesn't have enough power, but I also found that I had to soak the stuffing inside the carto about 48 hours before I got anything from it. The carto seems to have more stuffing than a regular carto, so the added time with some eliquid in there helped. I added a few drops every now and then. Once that was done, it works flawlessly. I am not using an ego though, using a 14500 mod.

no exp with the tanks but I only buy smoke tech 1.5 DC's now. I've gone through a boatload of standard 510's (HV's,LR's etc.) and the smoke tech cartos rock and are almost always consistent. I only order the clear so I can monitor my juice fill. I used to use the black metal ones but found that if you inadvertently run them dry, the fill will burn out and it can be nasty. The clears are the best for me but I have to be more careful with them since they are glued at the base and not pressed like the metal ones. No biggie for me! Love the dual coils on my SB, ego 1100 mah and my precious L. MFS had some smoke tech18650 ego kits for $59 last week but I missed the boat on those. Would have been nice with the DC's! Snooze you lose!

40 drop fill on the XL's with 24mg PG and I'm good to go!

So I got a new SmokeTech dual coil tank and a dc carto and so far they dont perform as well (vapor production) as my eGo-T. Do these things have a long break in period?

Thanx,
Talmadge

just use the 1100 mah batt. higher mah is always best with DC's/LR cartos or attys. FWIW, I'd only use PG based juice too. I only use VG if I'm dripping.
