I have been reading over this forum for about 4 months now, and I finally decided to get an E-Cig with all the helpful support from this community! I can't wait to chip in my two pennies. I initially wanted to start posting in the FSUSA forum, but I had to come here first. Not a biggy. I can see why they require this.
I am a former pack a day smoker for 6 years. I did go cold turkey with the analogs for the past three months. After the three month mark I saw that my local head shop had these e-Cig's. My local shop had one called the Red Dragon (it is just an E9 model). So, I picked it up and started using it. I love the cartomizers! I am in the process of buying some liquid to fill my cartomizers up with. I am going to use the "condom" method of filling my carto's. I just bought a syerigne just in case I didn't like the condom method (could overfill).
Although I did go cold turkey from analogs for three months without the use of e-Cig's, I just didn't feel right and started a nasty habit of caffeine, junk food, and so on. I wanted to smoke something. So, I went to smoking herbal shisha out of a hookah. It did have a calming effect, but that was all. I did not want the tobacco shisha because of the tar and tobacco. That is what I wanted to get away from! So, I walked into my local head shop to see if they had anything different for me to try.. and there it was.. The Red Dragon eye staring me in the eye. I did some research on these e-Cig's before I went into the head shop, and I was going to get the 510 Joye, but the red dragon was right there, lol.
So, I am from Minnesota and hope to meet other happy vapors here!
