I bought a joy 510 last week. it has been awesome so far! the only problem is that after 4 days or so of use, the throat hit has gone away. it still produces vapor, but hardly any throat hit. at first it was kick .... i made sure that my bats were fully charged and even went to the second atty that it came with but results were similar. can anyone help diagnose this?

i read another thread about cleaning the attys and i have them soaking in vodka right now. will blow them out and dry them shortly to see if it helps. is it flooded? too dry? burned out attys?

for what it's worth, i am dripping with an empty cart...3 or 4 drops every 10 to 15 mins of vaping. i occasionally get the "gurggling" sound. so it might be flooded. but even after blowing out the atty, the throat hit is still weak. any tips?

thanks

Well, I don't think you should have to "clean" it after only 4 days of use. I am actually more anti-cleaning at this point. One thing that bothers me is that some people say the atomizer can get "flooded" and some people suggest you soak it in liquid to fix it? That makes no sense to me. Isn't immersing something in liquid pretty much like flooding it? I dont know. But I wonder, is the throat gone from both attys or just one?

Hmmm this may be a longshot but I'll throw it out there... first couple days with my 510 and I was thinking the throat hit was SICK... I've come to realize now that it may have been the primer that was doing it, because along with the hit I was getting a really nasty taste...

I blow the primer out of my atomizers before initial use now, and while the throat hit is still decent, it's nothing like the first few nasty awful hits I took :D

Hey New,

Don't know what mg juice you're using, but you might need a stronger nic juice. The throat hit may have been killer when you first started because you were getting used to vaping. Now that you've been doing it for a few days, you might need a bigger kick to keep the analogs away.

maybe thats the prob. i am using high voltage juice from nhaler. its 12mg i believe. think i need a higher mg? although its not really the nic craving i have prob with...its the throat hit. not sure if its the same thing or not...

i hope that this isn't it. I really LOVED the throat hit i got at first. didn't really taste bad at all...
