Hello all!

Im brand new to vaping (only 2 weeks!) but tried to quit smoking using BLUCIGS prior to that. My problem with BLUCIGS was inconsistent quality between carts and low vapor production.

I started my ventures into vaping after walking into a new B+M in a strip mall quite by accident. I bought a kit with 2 900mah eGo batteries, few Kanger T3Ss and a couple of ejuice samples. This weekend I ordered the new eGo-v v3 vv/vw battery and Kanger Protank 2 and am loving the abundance of knowledge and help on this site!

Next I'm thinking of trying drip vaping with a HH.357 but I might wait a bit on that until I figure out how to use my new battery.

I've been smoking cheap cigars (Hav-A-Tampa) and cigarettes for 30 years and since vaping I haven't yet missed either!

Hello Miata,
I've noticed on here that seems to be a common story. BluCigs get a bad rap, but they are the inexpensive exposure many of us need to vaping. I know with my Blu I cut from 30 cigs a day to less than 10. Figured if a Blu could do that, what could a good one do?!

Purchased an Ego batt with an iClear 16 and haven't been happier. It's addictive though... especially after finding out it's only about midgrade and there are even better setups!

Anyways, welcome to the board, and congrats on cutting a 30 year habit!

Welcome! I started out with BluCigs as well, before they did the cartomizer thing and had the crappy atomizer+cartridge system, haha. So terrible!

My problem would be to get a pack of carts that tasted great and produced a nice TH then get a pack of crap that tasted burnt right away. Definitely didn't keep me off the analogs. I have to say the best part of vaping for me so far is this forum, the people and support involved, and the amount of interesting technology involved!

While I agree that blu cigs are an efficient gateway to "real" vaping, I don't think that they are cheap. 10+$ for a disposable that lasts one day, or 80+$ for a cheap starter kit, seems pretty expensive to me. Anyway, that's off topic.

Congrats on your switching Miata and welcome to the wonderful world of vaping

You will love dripping with the HH357. Little pricey for a 510 dripper but best investment I have made so far. I buy several of the 3.99 bottles from vapor chef or samples from other vendors and they last me forever. Don't have to waste filling a tank to swap out flavors or to try them.

Agree 35 for an inferior system and the cost of the prefilled cartos is crazy. Its a great starter because newbs want easy and it has everything you need in one box for what seems like a fair price.

Also give Blu credit for their extensive advertising that the Kangers, Innokins, Provapes, and this community are benefiting from on their dollar.

I'm new here too and I pretty much did the same thing, bought a Blu starter kit, used it for 6 months and eventually went back to analogs. Fast forward a year and I wanted to quit again, I found GreenSmoke, 90 bucks for the pro kit. I thought it was worth it since I spent about that I a month on analogs.... Nope, I found myself wanting a real cigarette again within a couple days. Thank glob I was still in the "30 day money back guarantee" period. I bought my kamry X6 and Kanger Protank, found this site, and now I'm waiting on my first mech-mod. The tinkerabillity (if thats a word) of these things is what really has me intrigued. I have been smoke free for a few weeks now and feel awesome already.

Sent from this thing using that thing

I'm glad you said that! Even though I tend to dive deeply into my hobbies I want to not overdo just buying vaping 'toys' and want to focus more on the enjoyment. I like the idea of having a device to easily switch from one flavor to another though and like the idea of the hand-crafted nature of the 357. Thanks again!

I'm new too, spending lots of time on this forum is so helpful, my guiding light actually. I haven't completely put down the analogs, had one on T day, stressful family stuff, but it did not taste as good as the vape! I'm about to purchase and start dripping with the HH357, a little nervous cuz I am new to this and that is an expensive leap -- but have read so much good stuff on it so far.

Thanks! Even though I found the BLUCIGS expensive they were far cheaper than analogs. I only wish is known about 'true' vaping to start with. The experience so far is far superior.

Agreed! I tried BluCigs on a whim and hated them but they got me more interested in vaping. After vaping for a couple months--with one slip up-- its safe to say that BluCigs help me kick the habit.
