Greetings Vapers!

I've been flirting with vape for a few years, starting with the early BluCig brand, which was worthless, and sent me right back to analog. Then last year my health insurance demanded to know if I was a "tobacco user" so they could raise my premiums... So I tried ecig brand, which is actually pretty reliable, I loved the Medium Chocolate. But alas they contained that evil Propylene Glycol, so I shopped around, and ordered the "new and improved" BluCigs with Veg Glycerin. BIG mistake... The portable (and social!) charge unit did not work at all. One of the batteries wouldn't charge for more than 5 minutes, and didn't work for much longer than that either. The one BluCig that did work was okay, but I lost it somewhere today...

So I went down to the local smoke shop, they sold me this new eGo-CTwist and some "juice" (for half the price of my BluCig Starter Pack). I charged it up, added juice, put it all together, clicked the button, took my first drag, and nada... No vape whatsoever... I googled "eGo-CTwist Instructions", which brought me to a newb thread on this forum, where I learned I had to hit the button 5x real fast to turn it on first.

Then I choked for :15 minutes on my first (dizzy) drag. I guess I turned the bottom all the way up when I was trying to get it to work. In spite of it all, I think this unit will work well for me, after a few adjustments.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!

I also started with Blu and was ...... that I spent the money. After posting my experience on facebook, I had a friend tell me about eGo. I first tried the CE6 cause it was cheap and I didn't want to "waste" more money. I loved it and very quickly got a twist on the advice of this friend. Now I don't like the CE6. I like adjusting the voltage sometimes I want a stronger hit than others. Depends on time of day and juice flavor but love the variable voltage. So, guess what? I just ordered another variable that has LED screen (one thing of the twist I don't like is that it's hard to see what setting it's at) and has more variables. It seems like everything I try I like the next one even better and act like a kid in a candy shop on Christmas Eve lol but loving every moment of it. Kinda expensive right now but I know in the long run I'll save tons of money over analogs.

Welcome! Can't go wrong with a twist, still use mine everyday. Best to have 2 batteries if you don't already for when one is charging or dies while you are out. I went the cigalike route when I first tried vaping aswell, didn't work for me and didn't want to smoke anymore so came to ecf and learned about ego batteries and such.

This is a great place for information overload.
