Hey guys, I'm really happy to be apart of the forums here now that I'm 6months tobacco free. Having major problems though

So, I got into the ecig scene not even to use nicotine but relax during the evenings while programming and I decided to go all out and order a good rig.

LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) from AvidVapor
510-510 Adapter (Sealed)
Cherry Vape Universal drip tip
Silver Bullet - Black Coated Body - Silver Button
Ultra Fire XSL 2600mAh 3.7V battery
Empire 901 HEX Drip Shield (Black)

It's a great device BUT i'm having some serious problems and need some advice. Everything seems to be okay but after about 4-5 days, my first atomizer just went bad. Like 1/4 the power and just all of a sudden. I don't dry burn and don't vape over 5 secs at a time. I was really bummed since they are like 9$ each but I put a new one on and worked perfect.. about 5-6 days later though.. (now) this one is like 1/4 the power. It's a freshly charged battery and just stopped working all of a sudden. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I try to take good care of this but maybe I need to rethink this.

Are my atomizers just junk and really THAT easy to die-out? I felt my old JOY510 kit lasted months on a single atty.. would love some pro advice! Thanks

I recently had a similar problem with a Lr 510 atty that is only a few days old.
For some reason it would not fire when the connection was tight. After my initial panic wore off ...(it was the only atty i had with me at work) I backed off on the threads a little until it was slightly loose and then it started firing with no problems at all. It is worth a try or maybe you just got a dud.

I am vaping a LR bridgless 306 from Empiremods right now,It hasn't let me down yet at all after 3 weeks and it was only $ 5.99
I have also never had a problem with any joye LR 510 atty's.
If you have a multi meter, you should check to make sure it is your atty's and not your batteries. Also you might want to poke around in the tips and tricks forum

LR atomizers are easiest to kill. Bridgeless atomizers are only good for dripping, not cartridges. Few use cartridges anyway - most switch to cartomizers. Boge 2 ohm are most popular on 450mah+ 510 threaded devices. And you could look at carto tanks that surround a sidewall-punched steel carto with juice (for example exloctronicstix J-tank and others)

when U use LR 1.5 ohms atomizer if yr battery is 3.4V (was told eGo is 3.4V)..initially if yr battery fully charged U could vape..after a while yr battery seem to fade and wont work on the 1.5 ohms LR atomizer..i had bad experience using my 1100 mAh LCD eGo on LR 1.5 ohms atomizer..but now i advise to purchase variable voltages eGo(3.2V,3.7V & 4.2V) or lavatube(3V to 6V) as the device can operate from 1.5 ohms LR to 2.8 ohms SR atomizers..lavatube all LR,SR & HR cartomizers and atomizers..regards mafig ps i now convert all my batteries to VV eGo as i like the warm vape of LR 1.5 ohms DCC(dual coil cartomizer)
