new ecig smoker, bad cartomizers

Hello.

I have a question about my cartomizers. Can old prefilled carts go bad, like reallllly bad?

Here's the deal. I ordered a kit from panda ecigs for $20, they are liquidating all their merch, including their carts. I am guessing the carts have sat around for a while. I got 2 tobacco flavors and have tried 5 different carts and they all taste like burnt syrup or something. There is no remote tobacco flavor or anything even remotely pleasant. I took a few puffs from each thinking maybe the taste would diminish but it doesn't. I won't even put the vape in my lungs because the taste in mouth is that bad.

Does anyone know what the deal is here with these carts?

No many people use cartomizers. You are probably right in that they are really old. Have you tried taking them apart and refilling them yourself with eliquid you can purchase. That's what I use to do with mine 5/6 years ago.
