I am torn between this and another charger but seeing the USB output I think I just made my decision. Looks like I will be hitting Gotvapes around payday.

Tis is one great little charger! I've been using the XSTAR for some time and decided to try it out. The eFest LUC is efficient and I find the display screen to be very convenient... definitely recommended.

I have been using the LUC 2 weeks now and simply love it. No guessing, you know when and how close the battery is to being fully charged. Okay, so here's the deal, there is a 3-way display. One is the digital readout, the current voltage of your battery, 2nd is charge bar with 4 battery level lines that is shared with both ports. this second indicator shows the charger is charging with a battery in any or both slots. 3rd is a battery meter for each charge slot. When a battery is low charge, no bars appear and the first bar flashes, when it is at mid charge, 1 bar appears and the 2nd bar flashes, and when it's above 4v 2 bars appear and the 3rd bar flashes. When complete, the charger shows 4.2v, the shared bar stops flashing, and the dedicated bar shows all 3 bars solid, not flashing.

It's kind of hard to describe in a post but it's very intuitive, and there is no guessing. You always know the exact state of the charging process, and the LCDs are large and easy to read. A great charger!!!

added: Here's the best part, even though it is reading 4.2v the dedicated charge bar can still be blinking so you know it is not fully charged. On other chargers the light can turn green because it's at 4.2v but still room for more charge/ not the case with the LUC, you get a 100% fully charged battery everytime and know where your at all along the way.

Hey red sock- we are getting some parts of this improved before we finalize the next order. Matter of fact in skype with them now. They are looking at making the slide contacts a little stronger, etc... update: we have our order in with improved stronger slider metal...

For any of you out there that has the first version of this... I can help with a suggestion ( sorry, no pics ) that you should like to address the "sticky" battery sliders.

Run down to your local sporting goods store or bait and tackle shop... Pick up a tube of Abu Garcia Silicate Reel Lube with PTFE. Put a small dab of it on a cotton swab ( ie q-tip ) and apply it to the inner races ( the slide area ) where the slide contacts run... Repeat it on both sides for each contact. Work the contacts forward and back so you spread out the lube. The lube won't do any good in the bottom of the slide contact area since they only slide up under the top edges.

The lube is safe for plastics ( since many fishing reels have plastic gears which is what this is made for ).

( Any redneck should already have some of this in their tackle box... or shouldn't call themselves a redneck :D )
