New eGo, am I doing something wrong?

Hey all.... new to the "scene" here.
I've been using an RN4081, almost exactly like the Smoking Everywhere Gold.
Reading and doing some research, I decided to go with the Joye eGo.
It did not come with a manual, but the guys at Liberty Flights talked with me on the phone
as to this does that and that does this..... great guys at LF.

I have so far, with the eGo, tried the atomizer/pre-filled cartridge that came with the kit.
An adapter and a re-filled RN4081 cartomizer.
A Dual Coil Heavy Vapor Clear 510 compatible mega cartomizer.

I can't speak to battery life of the eGo versus my Smoke Free RN4081 cause I've only been using it a few hours now.
However, regardless of the atomizer/cartridge or cartomizer I use, I'm getting just as much, if not less, vapor than with the Smoke Free RN4081.
I'm also thinking I may have over-filled the Dual Coil Clear, because when I push the button it crackles.

Now, the guy at LF told me I should hold the button on the battery the entire time I "draw" on the eGo.
Which I do.

I've seen reviews and a few vids on YouTube, and read some posts/reviews where people are supposedly getting tons of vapor out of the eGo, but like I said, I don't notice a difference.
For reference, the Smoke Free, with a slow 5 or 6 second draw gives less than a regular cigarette as far as "smoke" or "vapor" after exhale.
Where's all the vapor from the eGo? Not that I desire to blow smoke rings, but still....

Also, the Dual Coil Clear, while it crackles when I push the button, the entire unit remains cool.
With the atomizer/cartridge that came with the unit, the area under the cone gets a little warm.
As I'm so new to this, I don't know what is normal, remaining cool to the touch, or some warmth to the touch.

Any help, ideas, suggestions?
Thanx!!

Oh... one other question.... It came with 2 batteries.
What is the "usual" system most use?
Can you leave one battery on the charger until you need it?
Or do you charge one, take it off the charger and leave it in a case/drawer until it's needed?
What is the usual life of the charged battery waiting for use.... does it lose power sitting there?
And what is the usual life of the battery being used?
Thanks....!

So people consider the RN4081 the Best atomizer ever made.

That said, ohms play a Huge role in how much vapor/flavor an atty produces. It could be that the atomizire that came with your eGo is a higher ohm than what you are used to using with your RN4081.

I NEVER leave a battery in a charger any longer than needed. If your charger is doing what it should than it won't hurt it. But for what a charger goes for these days, they usualy arn't the highest wuality items.

With my set-up, no part of the battery or connector ever really gets warm (I hardly ever use the cone). The few times I've used the atty(s) that came with it to test the carts or to drip some new flavors, the atty housing did get a bit warm to the touch after a few puffs in a row. I've yet to use any other carts/cartos other than the clearomizers I ordered along with the kit. I don't use a drip tip and I keep all the plugs/rings/etc installed for leakage prevention. When I vape, my lips are right around where the atty is on the Clearos - and with my newly adopted vaping style (see below) with that combo, it rarely get very warm to the touch at all. But I'm also finding that 4 of 5 have the thinner tubes and are starting to crack already... so I'm going to turn one into a metal-style with an old metal carto sleeve - I'm thinking it will transfer heat differently, lol...

But the more I read about eGo's, the more I think I've gotten something that's not really an eGo... mine hits HARD! The prefilled carts that came with mine went straight to the shelf after trying only a few burnt-tasting puffs... on went the new 2.6 ohm clearomizers and I immediately tasted burnt fluid again. I found that it has TOO MUCH power (compared to a KR8) to vape with it the same way. I have to start the drag, push the button a second or two and then let off while finishing the drag and then everything's great. Oh, and I can't do it as slow as I do using my KR8's with an adapter. Which, oddly enough, I can hold the button for the duration with those and never burn the fluid unless I "chain-vape."

Mine is supposed to be a 900mah eGo - I really do like it; but now that I look at the site I bought it from, it doesn't say "Joye" anywhere in the description for the exact one I purchased... which is also out of stock for that particular kit.
