New ego attys wet?

I received a 5 pack of ovale attys and noticed they have a oily liquid on them. I cleaned one up to replace my burnt up one bit was wondering of that's normal
I figured it was some kind of preserving stuff but I'm unsure.

I can't speak for ovale attys because I never bought one. But many at attys come primed with PG. You just blow it out before loading it with your juice.

It's just primer to keep them wet until you use them. Blow them out real well and they will be good to go. Atty's don't like to be dry. If you don't blow the primer out, it will be a nasty vape for a short while until the primer gets out and the e-liquid replaces it.
