So as I stated before I go my Joye 510 working great (needed a new atty). Tons of vapor. But not before I ordered a new EGO 510 system with the larger tank. Hoping that would solve my vaping issue.
I also ordered a dual coil cartomizer thinking that would absolutely produce more vapor.

The results are my Joye 510 is as good or even better than any other combos or larger tank or dual coil system. Don't get me wrong there great as well but the Joye 510 is all I really needed.

Nice to experiment though...

thanks a million,

No, the switch is the problem. The ohms on the dual coil ( 1.6 ) are too low for the micro switches used in the ego.
Auto or manual; they both have micro switches, they are just implemented differently. The ego can handle a 2.0
ohm LR atty/carto, but it is not recommended to use LR on anything with a smaller battery. There are many people
using the dual coil with the ego's but it has been suggested that if it doesn't fry the switch it will cut down on the
lifetime of your battery significantly.

Ok so the Genesis EGO I have has a much bigger battery than my regular Joye 510 so does that make a difference?

So far so good

The bigger battery helps, but there is still the issue of the micro switch. There is no guarantee that the switch will fail or the battery go bad quicker,
but the vendors & the veterans are all saying these will eat up an ego. I have a GLV2 with a 1300 mAh batty and a 3 amp switch so I'm not worried. ;)

ok will be careful. So far so good. I have extra bats and have tried to go back to the single coil with the ego and it's just not the same. I alter between my Joye 510 (more vapor) and the ego (more throat hit) depending on my wants at the time.

I'll have to look into a GLV2.

thanks a million

GLV2 is a well made and nice looking mod well suited to the dual coils. You might also look at the rough stack from mad vapes. It's a lot less money and also sports a 3 amp switch. It's no where near as pretty (though the new V2s look a lot nicer than the old V1s) as the GLV2, but it does the job.

Been running LR Attys on 650 mAh and bigger mAh Ego since they've come out, probably close to 2 yrs now or whatever.! Out of the 30 I probably have and continuously rotating them I have had only 2 go bad so far, I would say that'S pretty dam good. The trick is not to constantly chain vape them and get them hot and over heat the switch or the Mosfet fails in between the connector and the switch.
