Just wondering if anyone knows if there is difference between these two? It the names are very similar and I wonder if anyone knows if the two are one in the same?

...pure speculation on my part. Smoktech is a Chinese manufacturer-distributor and smoktek is a US based dealership selling mostly Smoktech products..?

Could be. But smoktek's cartos are called smoktek not smoketech. A little suspect?

Thank you. I suspected the same, perhaps that the LLC has a very similar name as the manufacturer of excellent cartos (all I use at this point) hoping to capitalize on some sales to the unknowing? Who knows, maybe the LLC has some good cartos too, but I think I'll leave it to others to explore.

I always wondered about the similarity of the two names, but suspected that they were entirely different companies. I have been buying the Smoktek tank replacement cartos for a few months. The single coil variety. They offer choices of all resistance in single and dual coil and factory laser drilled holes in choices of 1, 2, or 3 holes. Obviously, I find them to be an excellent carto for my tanks to have bought them consistantly over 5 months.

While there is some word play in the ads not one of the items is physically branded as smoktek. while as other sites I have seen them rebrand carto's with their logo's. I been a customer here and all this time I completely ignored the slight difference in spellings lol. never really thought about. as more then maybe special deals or prefered runs from the manufacturer.
once you have a bit of product knowledge, for the most part you know who makes what.

no matter what site you go to you have to pay attention.

and with the wholesale ability of any vender to just order a knockoff direct from china you can call it whatever you want really.

i agree there but in this industry its all china's game, whereas we try to respect IP and copyrights, the chinese who actually make vaping stuff not only steal designs from each other, but its well regarded and known within the industry to not only invent the idea, but to pass it around to the other co's that will blatantly copy it, rebrand it and sell it for a different price.
just look at the "ce clearo" go to alibaba or one of the other product search engines and youll see every name under the sun and the products look identical. as well as if this factory runs low on stock they will just farm out to one of their competitors till they refill the stock. and thats why we go man those last 5 orders of clearo rocked but that last batch was made like crap.

And Smoktech while not ever thought of as an innovator or inventor,does some kickazz refining of the products they copy, examples of this are the new zmax (we all can tell where that idea came fromlol) and the screw tank(titan now)
