New eGo-T user and I'm switching to cartomizers

Hello everybody,

Well I've had enough of the eGo-T tanks. I have two eGos and both leak. One minute they will be ok and the next minute I'm chewing juice or they are leaking at the batt. I got 5 boge 2.0 cartos yesterday and I filled 'em and stuck them on and so far so good. Great TH and far better flavor than the eGo tanks. Of course being a Noob I have a few questions.

I am not really a chain vaper. How long will the cartos last before refill or top off? Can they be cleaned and how long will they last before being pitched? Just asking for averages. Where can I get a Carto cone. I haven't been able to find any yet. And lastly can you buy tips to put on them when you have a carto cone? I think I read where you can use drip tips...is that true?

Thanks for you help guys...It has been 8 days since my last analog!

Whenever the flavor drops off I top it off with a little juice. That doesn't really answer your question, but I don't really know how long they last! And I use them every day. When I use my juice that's pg and clear my cartos lasts longer than my fruit juices that are 60/40. Thicker juice seems to clog them up faster. I'd say they last a couple weeks. I'm not a super heavy duty vapor though. I don't wash mine, just throw them away. Just don't let them get dry.

As far as the cone, I've seen them on sale at Good Prophets. Personally, I don't use the cone. I don't think you get as good of a vape with the cone on.

I'm only using it for when I drive. So far, my first one (although I am using the dual-coil cartos, shouldn't make that much of a difference should it?), been using it for 3 weeks now. Just top it off at the office and at home (my drive's about 40 minutes, and I'm pretty much chain vaping the whole drive).

As for cleaning, I think I saw one vid (pbusardo) where he boiled 'em. At the price of one atty for 5, meh, just throw 'em out when they're done.

If you can't find a cone, try filing the inside of the cone you've got to get it to fit. (JUst a suggestion, haven't tried it myself).

When the taste starts to diminish, it's time to top off your carto. Look inside and you'll see that it's getting dry on top. Drip three or 4 drops around the sides, thermometer shake and repeat then it is good to go.

I tried the boiling method I saw on YouTube to clean cartos and it worked great. I've spent so much on mods, juice, attys and cartos that a couple of bucks each count for me. Saved $50 by reusing a batch. I throw cartos in a baggie when they start to taste weird and wait until I have a bunch to clean. Boil for 5 min, drain and repeat. First couple of boils I could smell watermelon. By the third boil the water was clean, no smell. I let them dry for two days, connection end standing up. Cleaned dual-coil cartos vape like new so far. One of the veterans wrote in their forum that you can do this in the microwave and it's ok to put metal in the micro if it's covered with water. Will try that on the next round.
