New epipe design`

I was looking at the shape and design of the 601 and I imagined it with the bowl done in a beautifully carved creamy white mirshcim (don't know if its spelled right) design. I remember some pipes my grandfather had. They were beautiful. One even had a lions head carved into the bowl. I think if possible someone could design an epipe to replicate something like that it would be very popular. Maybe even one done it that rich carmel cool and aged pipe takes on. I know I would buy a couple and I am a female. Especially if the price could be kept say between $69 and $99. Maybe designing different shape bowls with common interchangable attys, batteries,and carts; would be great just at collectables. I know I use to love to just look at my grandfathers pipe collection. Would love to hear some input on this idea. Would you buy them to use and enjoy?

That sounds like a great idea!... different styles carved out of the bowl, and different stain color options and interchangeable parts would be great i'd buy one without a doubt

I used to smoke a French long stemmed pipe with a white porcelain bowl decorated with red roses.

It would have been great to have had a real Meerschaum though. (The name means Sea Foam.) They often have carved faces.

Who knows - perhaps there will be E-Meerschaums one day.

When I first started vaping, that was one of the avenues I explored - and I did find a few websites selling meerschaums - fairly inexpensive..Unfortuntely, I have limited machining skills to incorporate my designs...and then all this mess with the government... I've put my ideas on the shelf until after the dust from the legal battles has settled.

But I still love the concept - very decorative e-pipes, made of the same materials as real pipes.

It would be easy to do. I'd like to see an inexpensive corn cob e-pipe!

An e-meerschaum would never color up, by the way. It gets its patina from the heat of burning tobacco. E-pipes have no heat to speak of (I began e-smoking by ordering an e-pipe almost 17 months ago).

It doesn't have to be a real pipe that is converted to and epipe. Maybe the bowl could be made of something like a polyresin or something of that sort that would look and simulate the real thing. That may even keep the cost down. As far as the heat changing the color there could be a creamy white like new or a nice carmel color that would simulate a well used one. Would be buyers choice. I would love to have one with roses carved into it.

One could try magic putty, modelling clay or whatever, leaving space for the battery and connector/pipe piece.
