This is my first attempt at a printed ePipe. I like the look and feel of the claw pipe, but also wanted something challenging to work with in the 3D design programs. The hand, cap, and 18350 battery box (fits in bowl) are all printed with ABS plastic and smoothed with several acetone vapor baths.

The bowl is printed with Taulman Nylon 618 which gives it a softer texture, flexible to 'pop' into the hand, and allows you to use clothing dye for color. I attempted a purple striped bowl, (pictured at bottom) but the print failed too far along to get another full print from the section of filament I dyed. The color came out lighter than expected so I wasn't happy with it anyhow. I may try another one printed with black and purple, but I haven't decided yet.

Inside it's basically a no frills 18350 box mod with tactile switch. 510 connector with a DID clone until I get my hands on some AO ceramic.

I've considered adding some electronics, maybe an LED in the cap with some charcoal texture etc but I may just leave this one as-is and move on to a more traditional pipe design.

If you use the nylon body and use dye to color it, then the LED will illuminate the bowl.

Bet that would look strange in public lol. I was modifying the cap design to hold the LED so that it would illuminate red under some coals. I need to get a dna or something similar before I can use this mod. With an 18350 alone it's horrible.
