Since I started using a new Evod my ego upgrades have started to play up! sometimes they discharge when the Evod is replaced after filling, sometimes they just dont fire and sometimes they wont turn on after the Evod is put on?

if I put the batteries back on the chargers the button doesnt flash but they are re charged within a few mins the light goes from red to green?

Fully discharged batteries still flash at the button then go red until charged green so i know its not the chargers.

They are also at no given times prone to lasting just an hour then other times hours?

I got caught out the other morning and 3 out of 4 batteries didnt work when the Evod was screwed on,lucky I put a new duel coil cart on the 4th but when that run out during the day at work I tried the other 3 and one worked again?

I have changed the coils with no difference but with my spare Evod the batteries seem ok?

Any ideas? Is the base thread on the new Evod perhaps too long?

Kanger's threading still hasn't come up to the joye standard, imo. Occasionally I'll get a T3 that 'bottoms out' before full contact of center posts - and it is always the Kanger. You can pull up or actually screw 'up' the center post on most Kanger clearos to where it's higher and makes good contact.

I've also noticed on the madvapes ohm meter that when screwing down the clearo you'll get high readings - like 3.5-4.0 ohms on a 1.8 or 2.2 ohm coil and when fully tightened they go to where they're supposed to be, so when the threading on the Kanger bottoms out sometimes you're not getting the rating of the coil. I haven't figured out how to 'rethread' those that bottom out - I just throw the coil out and get a new one. So far, it's always been a T3 (not a tabac BCC from either good prophets or heaven gifts) that has the threading problems. Don't know if that's the same with the evod though....

Sounds like it!

This morning when I screwed on my Evod the ego started to blink until I backed it off a bit.
