now that roly officially announced his new title i thought i'd give it a try to have him check into fotoflexer. much to my surprise i found out that our forum manager does not accept pms :laugh:
which leaves ''site feedback and help'' as the only option ;)
chrome, at one time, flagged FotoFlexer - The world's most advanced online photo editor as a malicious website and sarge preferred to play it safe placing that url on ecf's restricted list.
at that time, my search on google pointed to a false positive by chrome, apparently that happens quite often. all this is over a year ago now and i was hoping roly could take another look.
fotoflexer is the official editor behind photobucket and picasa ................ :D

If it were still restricted, the forum wouldn't have parsed the URL in your post. ;)

strange - i tried to post a gif on ''snails'' a while ago and the link was broken by ecf - ces thought my url contained a naughty word :D

Also, please note in my sig that there is a direct email contact for me. You are welcome to use it. However it does look as if we can get an all-round better discussion on many issues if they are first aired in this Feedback board, because everyone who knows anything about the history of the issue can comment. You can see from the above discussion that it is better to post in this Board for some questions: if this one was emailed to me, I'd just have to say, "No, I'll get back to you in two months". It's better to be honest.

I don't accept PMs because they add up to thousands and are impossible to filter, manage, respond to according to urgency, and above all maintain a state of progress on. The number of dropped balls that would occur if I used PMs is unacceptable. The Site Feedback board together with email, for me, is a more efficient system: if it can be sorted out in public, then that way generally gets a far better result - because (1) everyone has input, which means a better solution is found; (2) we can see what state of progress we are at; and (3) other Members may also find an answer to a question they had not, as yet, pursued.

We also have a new ticket system that replaces the Site Contact page. Once this is operating efficiently, we can better address queries that are more private in nature. Presently it has some glitches because the process is not yet smooth enough, and there is a backlog; but once it's sorted we should have a better way of resolving certain types of questions.

Keep complaining, it gives the Mods something to do.

Maybe the subdomain is blocked.

I can't unblock it until I've got up to speed on all these issues, unfortunately. Could I ask that you use another photo site until this is resolved?

no problem! that's what i've been doing for the last year or so ;)

nice to see you back in action, roly, you were missed! :D i stayed away from the email because both angus and sarge had listed pms as their preferred contact mode.

and last but not least - a merry xmas to you!
