All threads will carry over, even closed and archived threads. There is a wealth of information in these walls, we do not want to lose them.

The actual move is doubtful for this weekend as we're still working on scripts for the import. When you have a forum as large and complicated under the hood like ECF is, we have to make sure we get it right the first time so we're not scrambling after the import to fix things.

We're now looking at sometime during the early part of next week. We'll see.

Looking at early next week now, for the changeover. Lot's of stuff going on in the background. I'm trying to keep everyone updated

Update:

OK here we go then: ECF will be down for an hour approximately 8am Wednesday. It will be read-only from 9am Wed to 9am Fri.

After around 48 hours we will switch over to the new forum, which will be fully live at that point.

There will be a rolling update on the ECF Facebook page and on the front page of Vaping.com

They can also log into live chat
That's not tied into the existing servers.
Locks were turned off today.

Link to Live Chat is in the bar up ^^ there ^^ next to 'Advanced Search'. Bookmark it if you want, I'm not sure it will be a live link when the forum is read only. Might be a good idea to check it out in advance. Remember, forum rules still apply in live chat
