New Forum Software?!! (Theme)

Whoa!!

What just happened! Everything moved around and got new icons!

I guess this is a new forum software update.

Have to say I'm loving the new menu on the top left

Just a new theme. There's a dark one, too. Just use the style chooser at the very bottom left of the page.

Yea messed me up.. was writing a reply when everything changed lol. Spent 5 min looking for the " use desktop site" button thinking I accidentally hit it or something lol.

Have to say I'm loving the new large font theme (the light one), works great on my blackberry!

Yeah, I think it looks better on my phone than it does on my 17" notebook screen.

SO Far - So Good . . . Really like the larger text and being able to switch up the look. Gonna keep "working" with it some more to get use to the new theme. However, I do have a problem with the newer post text box and having so much real estate open on the right margin. AND - I am not ready in anyway to reset "My" screen to have the window open taking up the whole computer screen.

Thanks for keeping the old theme available...that new one didn't do nice things on my screen.

I would like to switch back to the old theme to compare them some more before making any decission - I tried all 3 options and do not find it can someone tell me which one it is ? Thanks . . .

ECF is the old theme.

Thanks for keeping the old theme available...that new one didn't do nice things on my screen.

I run my screen at 150% magnification, though--I'm visually impaired--and the right-hand sidebar was chewing up far too much space. I don't think it'd be a problem for most people.

How do I get back to the old theme? Just last night I could still take my window over to half screen and basically cover up all the sidebar info. Now when I try to do that the sidebar stays in place and the thread entries just get narrower.

Hooray for style chooser. I use a 27" 4K widescreen monitor for most of my browsing, and all that mobile-friendly/portrait-centric white space with the new theme was killing me.

I definitely prefer the ECF on my Note 5. Options are always good to have, though. Especially nowadays with all the different devices and screen resolutions out there. Software and web development must be a real nightmare.

Okay - Very interesting, what I thought was a new larger text in the new theme - is actually just darker text as is the Grey Shading surrounding areas . . . In reality the older ECF theme the text is larger and lighter. Also - I notice that the post "boxes" are much more defined - which is a good thing I think . . . Well - not that it will really affect anything - however I still gotta give both themes a run for their money before i make any decisions which I like better . . . Just Sayin' . . .

If I'm on ECF while staring at my mobile zombiebox, I'm using TapaTalk, not the browser. In which case, the theme doesn't matter, since everything is in the Tapatalk format.
