Greetings from Chicago

New guy here

I quit smoking 3 years ago (not even one since then) ... smoked for about 10 years. I quit many times and fell off the wagon countless times. The urge to go back always seems to be present. I decided to buy the npro and disposables to help with the urges which kinda worked for the meantime. They are a waste of money and too unreliable. Good thing I found this site while searching for alternatives and the wealth of information here is awesome.

I bought the Ego tank Kit and 25 premixed juices @ 50/50 30mg to start (from the vendor section).

The Ego T works pretty well so far. The 2 batteries are 1000mah and lasts a few days between changes generally which I found to be great (less now that I'm vaping more). Along with my order I bought 1 extra reg atty plus 1 LR (I haven't tried it yet because the first atty is still working fine and I'm a little worried about the battery). I had 3 flooding and 1 leaking issues but was due to my inexperience with this system and was easily fixed with a few searches here. Taking apart the atty to clean was easy enough and I'm still experimenting with different methods.

The juices so far are ok but the one I've been using more of is the ry4. I still have about 10 more juices to try out. I had to dilute the premixes with VG and vodka because the nic was too much for me. I do realize that the flavor decreases when that is done=( but doing that did get me to start learning about measurements which will help with diy.

Diy essentials on order at the moment are measurement equipment (couldn't find what I wanted locally), various flavorart flavors, PG w/o nic and Pg with 36 mg ( I will be diluting).

I've been reading up on the REO and it really looks promising so that might be my next PV. Thanks much.

Welcome to ECF, sounds like you're off to a good start!! :)

Mixing your juice to weaken it up a bit was smart. After I was vaping a while I found
that the high nic juice allowed me to actually let go of my PV and put it down for a spell. :lol:

There's so many ways to go for your first mod, from build it yourself "Pucks" to Darwin or Reos. Enjoy your ego for a bit and experiment with a few different attys or cartos. It's easier to pick a mod or a flavor to DIY when you develop a feeling for what you want more of for your perfect vape.

vape on :vapor::vapor:
