Greetings fellow e-smokers, just a little introduction of myself.I'm not completely new to vaping as I have spent countless hours researching and reading/watching reviews of several products/techniques/tips/tricks since early 4th quarter of 2011. I'm just new to this forum :2cool:. I purchased my first kit (V2 standard) in early November and I was hooked. A couple days later I ordered myself a Halo G6 kit, which I also loved. I also went a little crazy and ordered a bunch of e liquids from Blue Mist (highly recommended - great customer service, easy to deal with, hassle-free :D)Then, after about a month of my new found excitement/habit, I went straight back to analog cigs...that is until a couple days ago, when I put my health as a #1 priority and decided I needed to quit and go back to using the e-cig (I'm having my wisdom teeth out on Thursday, and also I'm having other various health issues that I can attribute to smoking, or the fact that smoking in general does nothing but hurt your immune system). After 2 days I already feel a lot better. I'm using my V2 at the moment (one of my G6 batteries is broken, cause I dropped it and it got ran over by a car , and the other one is MIA :()After reading up on the Joyetech Ego-C, I had to get one for myself, so I ordered myself a battery and the Type A starter that comes with the atomizer body, atomizer head, and the tank. I am so excited to get this, it should arrive either tomorrow or Tuesday. I would have gotten the whole kit with the charger and all, but I'm jobless and broke, and it's all my fault, so I couldn't afford it. Anywho, just wanted to drop in here and say hello.I think registering to this forum will definitely help keep me off analogs, and I wish I would have done it when I first started vaping.Anyone else have problems staying away from the analogs?

Welcome from a "tip of the Mitt" Michagander. Yes it is hard to stay away from analogs but I keep this fact in mind that vaping tastes a whole lot better than cigarettes. Also the main thing that has helped me is using LR atties and cartos.

That's one thing I can say is so appealing, is that it tastes so much better than cigarettes. That first cigarette I had after the month or so that I quit...was terrible...but like a true champion (ha) I stuck it out and continued until they tasted "normal" again. The whole experience of vaping is way more appealing, in that there's always a lot of new and exciting things that can be discovered and discussed, where as, you don't have a whole forum where people are posting threads on the newest/hottest cigarette...maybe there is one, but I haven't come across it yet, neither have I searched for it :p

Thanks for the feedback! A quick question for you...where did you get that neat signature that shows how long you've been smoke free?

I started vaping in October and was analog free for a week but then started back smoking 5 a day and that lasted for a few weeks. Next thing I knew it was 10 a day, so went back down to 5, 6 or 7. I did that until New Years Eve and smoked my last one that night. Once I put my mind to it I was able to stay off of them for 7 weeks now. Do I miss them--at times yes I do want one but I know I can't have just one so I vape instead and the urge goes away. I spend lots of time on the forum too and that helps get me through those weak moments when the urge hits.

I am from the Warren area so will send you a friend request so when we have our next vaping meet you can be contacted and hopefully join us. We had one January 28th in Lansing and we vaped ourselves silly. 3 local Michigan vendors attended with a wide variety of juice for us to sample & pv's and we had a lot of fun.

Let us know how you like your new Ego and when the analog urge hits just keep on vaping and come to the forum! You can do this if you put your mind too it.

Awesome, thanks for the support! I have found this forum to be a huge help so far! That's what I plan on doing when I have a craving, just hit the vapor a few times, and usually it calms it down, the hardest thing is when I'm with my friends...all of them smoke...I told them, If I ask to bum a square, don't give it to me, no matter how mad I may get at you...it's worked so far lol. And that sounds pretty cool, I would definitely be interested in doing something like that. I will also let you know how my ego experience goes and keep everyone posted on that. Thanks again!
