Hi all,
I am on day 3 analog free after 30 plus years of smoking. I have been using my G6 for the last 2 weeks while still smoking 3 analogs a day. A week ago I had a total shoulder replacement and knew I needed to be analog free after surgery to properly heal. After surgery I was using my G6 with pre filled cartos/Tribeca from Halo....loved the flavor and the performance so I ordered the new mini tanks for G6 and a 30 ml bottle of Shamrock e-liq. I completely quit the analogs 3 days ago and love the Shamrock, 18 mg. It is super tasty!. Now that I know this really works..no cravings whatsoever!...I'm wanting to upgrade. The G6 with the mini tank is awesome, but I'm charging my 2 batts all day and night as I'm a vaping maniac with these great flavors. Without breaking the bank, but wanting a decent system, I'd love some thoughts on where to go from here. I've read countless threads in the forums here and am getting more familiar with it all but also more confused. I could use some guidance. What's working for you?? Thanks in advance! Love the people and the support here!! Happy vaping!!!:) roonies

If you desire to stay with the same Halo company, they do offer larger batteries that will allow longer use between charges. The Triton batteries are available from 650 to 1300 mAh for those seeking longer usage times between charges. Variable voltage and pass-through models are also available according to the website.

The term "mAh" is term used to describe how long a battery can be expected to last under normal circumstances. 100 mAh is equal to 1 hour. So a 400 mAh battery can be expected to last 4 hours, such as your current G6 battery. A 1300 mAh battery can be expected to last 13 hours between charges.

The Triton is basically what is known in the vaping community as an eGo class battery. A fixed voltage battery will give the same power output to the heating coil from start to finish. A variable voltage battery would allow you to adjust the voltage lower or higher for different flavors. Flavors may taste better with an adjustment to the voltage used. Note this -- "Important: Triton USB adapter required. Using the G6 USB adapter may cause irreversible damage to your Triton battery."

welcome welcome welcome. i can only tell you as a newby what i have found to be perfect for me. i want no muss, no fuss, long life battery and good vapor. i got the joyetech ego-c, 1000mah battery with ce5 clearomizer. it holds 1.9 ml of juice, no little cartos to fiddle with. replaceable heads by someone old and feeble...lol! got it on sale at myfreedomsmokes at a great price and great customer service. that is my recommendation as a newby. i don't know if this is a move up for you or not, as i said, i am new also. congrats on getting off the stinkies!

thank you both for your quick replies. I don't necessarily want to stick with Halo for hardware. I'm more interested in what is working well right now for folks. I like the idea of vv, long battery life, pass through, and non leaking tanks. I've seen some negative posts on E-go in the last week or so. Maybe those have been regarding non Joyetech knock-offs? Also interested in good vendors and coupons for ordering. I am hardly believing I'm not smoking!!...never even wanted to quit. My spouse worries this is another addiction as opposed to a hobby, but says order what you need to keep you off the cigs!! So I can pretty much go with something great, short of a Provari price wise. Also wanting to try some different and USA made juices. Thanks!!

My recommendation would be to go with an ego twist or vision spinner for the vv battery (get the 900 or 1100 mah to last longer between charges - I chain vape and go through 2 650's in a day if I am out of the house all day - I use a Vamo at home but just got a MVP in the mail - will see how that works out and about) and kanger evod or a protank (protank has a glass tank and is safe with all juices but is a bit airier and cooler vape than carto's)
