New from SD

Hey guys, just joining the forum. I'v been vaping for about 3 weeks, lurking the forum etc. Working on quitting smoking, blah blah you guys have heard this 100 times, but so far, really really enjoying my vaping!

Hardware currently - Itaste Vtr with Iclear 30s. I bought a Kanger Aerotank yesterday, and so far, I love it. Started trying a few new juices from the local shop. So far I'v tried tko vapor strawberry and blueberry, and didn't like them. Got Native juice vapor "Zombie Juice", love it. Also, Vapor beast Razzmataz is pretty damn good too.

Welcome to the forum. And yes, we have heard it, but not from you! Congratulations on making the switch!

Finding the right juice can be quite an adventure, and it seems to be different for each of us. My current favorite is Cinnamon Roll from Mt. Baker Vapor. I haven't found a fruit flavor I like, except for a mixed berry called Get Razzled. Have fun sampling the local juices!

Hello MWdrift! Welcome to the forum. Congrats on making the decision to vape instead of smoking. Just keep vaping instead of smoking when you can and it will get easier to skip the cigs. as time goes on.

Welcom MWdrift! Yeah finding the right juice that you like will take a while, but that might be just simply because you may find too many that you like haha! Everything is trial and error... and this is just the tip of the iceberg for you! I thought once I really got off cigs I'd quit vaping too but I enjoy it too much to quit... and then you'll buy more and more mods, start building... it's a great hobby! Congrats on making the switch man, enjoy it!

Thank you for all the kind words guys. For the most part, the smoking isn't even a problem anymore. When I drink though, it seems I revert to old habits. I have noticed though, as time goes on, even that becomes less of an issue. They honestly taste like crap nowadays.

It fits and looks pretty great. Its not quite as snug as the iclear 30s to the ring. There is a small difference between the ring diameter and the tank diameter, but it hasn't bothered me. I hear a lot of people really like the Iclear, but so far I'm loving this Aerotank much much more. Not quite sure if it is just because its new to me, so time will tell.

I know myself too well. Its safe to say, I have an addictive personality, if I don't go all in, and treat this as a hobby that i love doing, it won't work. So far that is exactly what it is becoming! I tried those "Blu" cigs a while back, and they honestly did nothing for me. The hassle of regularly using those was a big problem for me, so I wanted something nice to use.

There were a lot of not so good ones that I tried. A few that I tried that I really like, some I even bought; obviously the Vapor Beast, Razzmataz (only issue with this one, is 70% pg, I normally like a bit more vg), Uber Berry by Quantum Vapor is really good, Quantum- Aurora B, kind of a grape and lime mixture, and they also have a strawberry-apple mixture as well that I really liked

Hey MWdrift - welcome to the ECF - sounds like you are in the RC area (TKO reference). I am coming up on my 1 year vaperasary and have some experience with most styles of vape gear (mods, mechs, RDAs, RBAs (including rebuilding Protank single coil heads) and DIY) so if you have any questions and don't want to be influenced by a vendor just shoot me an IM here (I check in at least once a day) and I am excited more people in SD are getting into vaping.

Yes, I do live in RC, you too?? Thank you and I will keep that in mind.

I'm probably going to be getting into rebuilding coils here soon, so I will have questions most likely. I am going to school here for mechanical engineering, so stuff like that really interests me. Should be interesting!

Just bought a Chi You clone, and an atomic rda!

Built my first coil, was 26 gauge wire, around a 1/16 in. drill bit. I did 7 wraps, and it ended up at 1 ohm.

One question, I am using cotton balls from walmart, is this proper? Tastes good I believe, but I didn't know what to buy. (100% cotton it says)
