Hello! I'm from Syracuse too... just wanted to stop in and say hello. I didn't realize Backwoods was in NY. Come to think of it - I ordered their Malty and Malty Toffee last month and they did show up really quick. What's the store in Vernon called? Has anyone been in there? I wish there was a place locally to go and sample juices... the reviews here are great but... it's hard to buy "taste untasted" (sight-unseen?).

I'm really new to this and forums in general so bare with me. On another forum I posted a link to a site that sold VG and PG so that members could look at the MSDS and warning lables for the info about both substances. I was harrassed by an administrator for spamming because I worded my link "buy VG" by mistake. I was accused repeatedly even though I explained myself and the other members accepted my explanation. Anyway I am a bit desperate to find out more info on vaping as it has become a favorite passtime of mine. I have a rather cheap E-cig but I do mix my own juice with no nicotine...I love the aroma and the general fresh feeling that I get from my own blends. I would LOVE to know what model E-cig is best for filling my own juice. I prefer cartomisers to atomisers. The choices are really making me dizzy! Any suggestions?
I prefer VG to PG for many reasons: being that I am in a medical profession I have personal reasons for my leaning to VG but I will keep that to myself. I'm really not without doubt in regard to VG either but that is just me. Anyway, if I wasn't vaping I would be smoking again.

Best regards to all,
Christopher

Wow it is pretty cool to see someone on here from Syracuse. I grew up in that area from about age 4-19. I lived mainly in Central Square where my Dad still lives now, and also in Mattydale, and Cicero. I've lived in Arizona now for about 8 yrs and like it here but I definitely still think of Upstate NY as home. I'm still a fan of NY sports teams too.

PS- I had a grandfather that lived in Rochester so I am also quite familiar with that area.

Hi Christopher,

You can't go wrong with a Joye 510, an eGo or a Riva. Liberty-Flights has great prices and I'm anxiously awaiting the Rivas to get restocked and I can't decide between the Titanium or the Pink model LOL!

For flavorings, google Perfumer's Apprentice or OneStopDIYShop. They have wonderful small sample sizes for $1.40 so you can go crazy and order a ton at a time. I highly recommend 'Toasted Marshmallow'. It's my new daily vape and it's just heavenly tasting at 15%.

I'm a VG person too. I have stomach issues and I heard it was gentler on your body and have had no adverse reactions to it. The vapor is ungodly too with VG:)

Keep on vaping!

Yes, I have some issues with PG as well. More in the lungs though. It actually seems to make my chest hurt slightly.
Got some chronic respiratory issues anyway (nothing serious). Toasted marshmallow does sound good! I actually just ordered a kit from DIY. Cherry, Apricot, and Blackberry. Plus some bottles of VG and nicotine. I'm hoping to make a mix that will get my lady to start vaping and give up the tobacco. I'll check out thise models that you mentioned.

Thanks much

Just put in an order for the eGo with 5 empty cartomizers. Can't wait to see how it works!

Thanks for the info
