Just wanted to say Hi. I have been Lurking for a few days now. And vaping for about 5 days steady. I smoked almost 3 packs a day and now about 1/2 pack a day right off the bat without even trying. I'm hoping to be totally quit in another week or so. Been Smoking for about 39 years with about 5 quits in there. I'm finding that this is much easier than anything else I have ever done done... (Gum, patches, chantix, wellbutan, cold turkey). Pretty much everything. Wish me luck. Any advice will be much appreciated.

Deb.

I have extra Battery's. Bought one yesterday after reading on this forum...lol I also have alot of flavors... and extra tanks. Not sure what I like as far as flavors go, they sure taste better than a cigarette though. When I smoke, I have been vaping at the same time to show myself how bad the Cigarettes taste and I think that is helping alot. im using 24 and 18 strength. Thanks for the welcome all.

Hello Debra and Welcome to ECF :)

Vaping for me wasn't a replace smoking but to Find something Better then smoking.
And that's what I found in Vaping.
I get mad thinking about how long it took me to find out about vaping.
Once I started Vaping I never looked back. With in the first weeks I got my smell and taste back, which I didn't even know I lost lol
I sleep better, don't wake up in the middle of the night coughing, and I feel better too! :)
I hope ECF helps you along the way as much as it did me. Good Luck and Keep on Vaping :vapor:

Thanks everyone... Joesquid. I went to the store at Chesapeake Square mall this week and got some good flavors. I aLso have ordered some online that i have seen people talk about in the forums. I got one package in today. So far so good. I also bought some juice at the smoke shack. I like the ones from the mall much better. They let you try them at the store...

I hear there is a good store on Indian River Rd. Sorry, I am not sure of the name, but one of the guys at Pioneer in Chesapeake Square told me about it. Indian River e-cigs maybe. There is a crazy over priced retailer out my way called Cabintown. It's an okay place to look and taste, but I have found they average between 20-40% over most MSRP. Good luck.

I have been to CabinTown out on 460. I bought a set up there... I really didn't like the juices that I bought though. Not there Fault ... Mine Totally, It did Delay me on my Vaping Journey though... Ill have to go out the Great Bridge way and look... I'm in Deep Creek so that is not far at all.... Thanks for the info.

Yeah, Wanda Bradshaw's office. Good people, helped me save my pal from Parvo a few year ago. Hey ditto on the Cabintown warnings. I won't go into a rant here, but I will say its worth 45 to 60 minutes of my time to drive to eastern Tidewater and much better vape vendors. I'll never go in that shop again. Well maybe if ownership changes. Any Newbes reading this you are warned, that shop will bend you over. E-Cig City off the interstate at Indian River is great, see Chris, Jen or Ryan. Papa Joe's on the beach Blvd. just west of Newtown Rd; see Alex or heck just about any of the shop owners or managers in any of the eastern Tidewater stores are great.
Hey good luck on the quit. After years of smoking and a few more of eating nic lozenges I found the vape to be a walk in the park for me. I started at .6 (dripper) and can enjoy .3 nic levels now. I do both and anything in between. I started making my own juice. It's a blast and much easier than many would have you think. Good luck. You can do it! If you find any more vapers out here in BFE let me know, we should all try to get together at Fred's in Franklin. They have a nice courtyard and I am sure he would welcome the business. All the best to you.

I'd just add to this thread, don't worry about equipment right now, spend your money on juice from recommended sources. One caveat to that is until you fully quit analogs your tastebuds aren't going to fully heal and give you the best taste for the flavors your buying.
What you like today will probably not be in your wheelhouse a month or two after you have that last analog.
Keep fighting to get rid of the analogs and good luck.
