I picked up the Derlin shield because it was cheaper than the rest :) Do you bother adding an additional drip tip to the universal? the opening seems like it might be a bit big to draw directly from it, but making it longer seems awkward as well. I'm hoping the drip shield will make drip and drive a bit safer. I know, I know, don't drip and drive :)

I have both a metal empire mods shield and an avid vapor delrin (I think...It's some kind of plastic.) drip shield and they both work fine. No need to avoid the delrin.

A shield alone isn't enough to allow dripping and driving IMO. The cadillac for that is the Vapemate from Super T but, they are pricey so I don't own one. Another option is the Drip On Demand Kit. I do have one of those and it works well for no look dripping. There is also The Dripper. I've seen some posts that say it works. However, just a shield alone won't make dripping and driving safe.
